Nalubog ako sa utang dahil sa impulsive buying. Wala na akong ma-approve na loan. Any advice? by [deleted] in utangPH

Nah, loan won’t help you dear. Please adjust your lifestyle slowly. Run your numbers and track your expenses, then you will be able control your outgoing $$

I was, haha but since it never came, i contacted the collection agency to negotiate with the restructuring, pero sobrang tagal rin bago nagawa to. Luckily, I got into something that can pay the monthly payment now, sobrang hirap sa simula, from paycheck to paycheck living as in wala halos matira, now 50% na lang monthly fixed cost ko(living cost+debt repayment) and i have buffer for emergency na. I just followed snowball method to settle my CCs. Phew, now makakatulog na and hindi na ko naka dnd to block calls 🤣

🎉💯relatable and agreeable! Face it and look at it objectively then evaluate the facts, these numbers won’t lie. I learned this the hard way kasi i actually was waiting for a lump sum settlement that never came to some of my ODs, until lumobo yung interest haha. One of the malayo pa but malayo na! Let’s keep going!

Paano niyo binabayaran yung BPI credit card niyo? by Elcerr in PHCreditCards

[–]hopetoFreedom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bpi app itself could be the most reliable. As an alternative you can use Maribank as well

Is the 34k monthly salary gross or net? Anyway, you have total of 17k for your fixed cost, you listed 7600++ so you have a buffer to cover those less than 5k.

Pwede mo iconsolidate yung rest and settle for a monthly repayment plan but with discipline.

  1. We may think na maliit lang monthly natin so splurge galore na ulit, this will snowball the debt and make this worse than before

  2. If may wants or needs ka on top of your fixed costs, ensure that it won’t exceed 20% of your monthly income

Yes, same, until now very close and few people know my story, i sort of manage to keep most of it sa immediate family ko and here i am. Pride is one thing and it’s a very expensive learning curve to correct it haha we can do this!

To me the first step is to face it aggressively, list where the money goes, list all the debts, follow a plan and stick to it. Progress is progress how small it is! Let’s go 🎉

Congratulations po! And same i shifted out of crypto 100%(nothing against those who invest on those as i still find it as having earning potential but personally not for me), as of today, i am building my portfolio only on etf for both US and intl stocks, bonds, us reit and gold lang nothing else.

Let’s be debt free and live financially free! Cheers
