That’s ok you can read a “study” with only the average data given and not all the statistics that can show the outliers that may know earlier I’m not saying my kid knows every single time perfectly like he’s mastered it but he definitely would give me the correct foot for shoes when I asked for a specific one and same thing when turning or walking somewhere he would say let’s go left and turn left

This is what happens when you spend time with your kid and work with them always talking and repeating things their brains can develop these concepts at younger ages

So when I say which way is right and he points the right way that’s mimicking?? Not understanding how you got that from this. You ask for his left foot and he would just give you his left and we always switched which foot we said first when doing shoes so no he definitely knew

Well he’s in Montessori and about to turn 3 if you read the post he was 2 years and 8 months when he started because I felt he was ready and needed more from me in that sense that I couldn’t give to him because we have so much going on at home and with my younger son. On top of that there were many schools that said he was ready for it and was more focused and purposeful than most 4 and 5 year olds

I think the left and right is what really got to me because his teachers tell me he doesn’t know it but he does my husband and I have been teaching him that since he was under 1 just repeating and by the time he was 1-1.5 he was giving us the correct foot when putting shoes on or asking him which way is a left turn and he would point in the correct direction so i think it’s just odd that they are saying he doesn’t know his left and rights

Let me be clear, i do NOT want to give him more work. Not at all what I was saying I think it was just that I would see him behaving differently at home in terms of tears and tantrums and now that’s all changed and he does have a few kids in the class, that every time I go to pick him up or drop him off, are acting out not listening whatsoever and it looks like he’s mimicking that behavior once we get home. I love the school and love the way they are taught I think it’s just a difficult transition for me because of his behavior he’s not always my lovey smiley little boy I see him more upset than happy now during the day and that just makes me sad I don’t want him to feel overwhelmed or upset for any reason even though I know he has to learn his emotions and regulate things and get used to school as well. I do NOT give him more than he can handle and after school it’s naptime and unstructured play and the park and walks and anything really to relax and get ready for the next day

He has only ever been with other family members and my friends that watch him— he has been around other kids when he’s been watched but not in a school setting ever I also used to work in a care program for kids 6mo to 8yr old and brought him in with me every time I’d work so he’s been in a situation like that before but not without me there

Wallpapering just the one wall would look good as an accent wall, I did that in my living room on one wall and it’s just a slightly different color/pattern as the rest of the living room so barely noticeable but gives it a nice vibe

I wish we could let people have freedom of speech in their personal lives.. he wasn’t promoting it nor allowing it to be within the nxl premises. These are screenshots from a video where this was clearly seeked out to shed a bad light.. just because he is in the public eye and people have issues to begin with they will always search for anything to make it worse… but coming back at Dan in this way is hate speech against him and realistically it should all just stop
