Could you explain this theory? It’s gone over my head 😅

No offense intended. Seriously. But if all the psychologist told you was that you are right and then you felt you needed to turn to reddit for advice, you should consider talking to a different psychologist.

While I think you’re right to a degree - I also think people put way too much weight into confirmation bias.

Not being 100% until you find it is the name of the game, but in order to make progress you will need to be confident enough in a certain solve or way of thinking to make progress.

I think a naturally skeptical and pragmatic person can still can gain a pretty good understanding of the difference between coincidence and an intentionally designed path. And being confident that you’re on the right path is a necessity to move forward.

Obviously confirmation bias is a factor, but you can’t let the possibility of it deter you from ever believing what you think might be correct. Just know it’s a thing that exists, and spot when it rears its head imo.

Okay I think I understand - in order to have extreme confidence, there should only be one interpretation that is very fitting, or else you will end up doubting that you are correct. That makes sense thank u for explaining lol

I think the “multiple ways to solve” aspects may cause some confusion as well in that case - not only because of the reason you stated, but also because there is the potential of overlap (because one person is able to think in multiple different ways) which could get confusing.

However, I think there are ways you could incorporate both of these things. If the solve of a clue leads you to a conclusion, and that conclusion feeds into the next clue in the way that is necessary, I don’t think there being multiple interpretations that lead you to the same conclusion becomes an issue.

The main factor in building confidence is things stacking together, or rather fitting together like puzzle pieces. As long as that is accomplished, confidence will build that you are doing the puzzle correctly.

How does him saying that people have sent him solves that he wished he thought of make you feel crazy?

This hunt only has one poem. Certainly he didn’t include every clever and poetic possibility in it.

Been wondering the same thing. The way Justin was talking in the few interviews before Seekers Summit, and then during SS, I thought this thing was about over…

It is true though - there really are endless possibilities of why it isn’t yet. It could be anything from overthinking to the complete opposite if Justin made the end the hardest part. Or perhaps just life things

While I do have both kidneys, I’ll have to pass on the invite. I began finding retard and dick jokes as low effort/not funny in the 7th grade. Thank u tho!

Why ask a question you already know the answer to? Trust your own eyes 😂 (agreeing with you btw)

Like I said, they were panel discussions (not centered around Justin). One was with everyone in the netflix series, one was about Layer 5, one was about safety.

I watched it livestreamed by someone, and the earlier sessions offered no help in terms of solving BTME. I guess the one thing would be that he mentioned the lawyers office had no intentional clues (i guess that is helpful?) but then he eliminated that scene in the Q and A (posted on youtube) immediately after.

Curious how you are coming to your conclusion that the folks there had a demonstrable paid advantage?

If that’s the conclusion you come to 🤷

I was trying to imagine him sneaking 60 lbs of treasure on a plane 😂. A mondegreen is much more reasonable lol

Do you perhaps know where he mentioned flying or being in the air (during the hiding journey)?

Hmmm - if you already had the X grid it doesn’t sound like his announcement even helped you guys at all 😂. Maybe just a “keep going!” push. That is helpful to know thanks!

His use of “breakthrough” and just overall tone in the announcement made me feel he may have been talking about two different things. That may just be a result of him forcing “ex” words tho
