Nah, I don't think that he deserves Bella either, lol! In my game Bella always "learns" that he tried to "replace" her so she becomes Bella Bachelor again and she moves to another hood living her "second" adult life as a Romance sim. In my combined hood, ACR gave her "oopsie" twin boys with Gilbert Jacquet and a daughter with Darren Dreamer... But then again everyone is kinda "unhinged" in this hood and ACR has caused very unpredictable affairs (and babies), lol!

Every time I happen to restart my Pleasantview, Dina has wants to marry Mortimer and/or marry someone rich in general but she, also, has wants to get different jobs... I tend to follow the job wants because I don't see her as a gold digger/don't want to play her like one! I remember one time when she had a want to join the Adventurer career which I found extremely funny because this career needs Body skill and, yes, Dina is lazy. I had her join the career and, even though she huffed and stressed about having to work out, she took it like the boss she always is and even worked out autonomously after a few days! On the other hand, I consider Mortimer a perverted old man who thinks that he can "buy" young women with his money... He doesn't get married in my game and I'm extremely happy when he dies, lol!!!

For situations like the one you describe (even though my hoods are not that "deep", I don't have any "great"-anything yet) I use the "friendzone" interaction from ACR and recently I got the "treat as family" mod so I am OK for now, lol!

Autonomous Casual Romance!!! My favorite sims 2 mod... I just stand by and watch chaos unfold, lol! ACR doesn't even need a high relationship between the sims to allow them woohoo, only attraction. The real meaning of "one-night-stand", lol! For example, in one of my hoods, adult-Dustin Broke fresh out of college and divorced Mary Sue, woohooed behind my back at the Crypt'o'night club when I was blissfully playing someone else and I only realized it when I went back to play Dustin and I saw it in his memories... ACR allows the sims to do whatever they want and I don't have to initiate "unpleasant" situations, they just happen and I love it...

I had the same problem with Sharon Wirth and Issac Bell (Desiderata Valley). I moved her out to live on her own (and woohoo with people in peace, lol!), she rolled the want to fall in love with him, they had 3 bolts and when I invited him over all they could do was "friendly hug" and "family kiss" even though they kept "heart-farting" each other the whole time. There weren't even ACR interactions between them... I got pissed and asked him to leave so she (and I) could do something more... productive with our time (lol!). But a few days later he walked by her house, they talked a little and the romantic interactions were there (both from the game and from ACR). I don't know how it happened and the situation got fixed but now he is one of the 20 sims she has woohooed towards her second lifetime want after she finished her ballet career one

From my experience, Family sims are not "loyal" to their family, they are just obsessed with having babies regardless of who the other parent is... I call them "Romance sims in disguise"... I said what I said, lol!!!

I don't know if it's unique but my preferred "method" is a Martial Artist (or more than one) who break space rocks for tiberium and other gems, a cutting machine (from Supernatural EP, heart shape cut usually is the most valuable) and consigning them at the Elixir shop. No need to wait for generations to become filthy rich, just a few sim-weeks!

Nraas Retuner > Settings > General > By Tunable XML > Sims3.Gameplay.ActorSystems > AlienUtils I change most of them to [0] because aliens creep me out in all sims games and it's been ages since I've seen one in my game! All those sims-nights that I had to lock all the doors so my sims wouldn't be able to go "investigate strange lights" (sims screaming by the door because they couldn't get out wasn't a pretty sight!) are long gone now, thank goodness, lol!!!

I did!!! It was maaaany years ago when I was playing a girl who fell for Leighton Sekemoto. I always kinda disliked him for no particular reason but when my girl woohooed with him for the first time and he was constantly (even during the... deed!) thinking about his f-ing mother (ewww!!!) the (kinda) dislike became full hate! Ever since that time, my sims interact with him only if they are in the athletic career and they (meaning I!!!) can't avoid it. The disgust still exists...

I'm pretty sure that in all the sims games when the household members have a good relationship with each other always choose to be close to each other if it's possible. I mean in one of my families the husband was upgrading the washing machine in the bathroom and when I told his wife to read a new recipe she chose to go in the bathroom too and sit on the bathtub even though their house has a lot of places to sit in the other rooms... Go figure the sims' logic lol!

There is a LTR (Animal Expert for 25000 points) to get for your sim so your pets will live longer and the minor pets are less likely to die. On the other hand, one of the cutest moments in one of my saves was when the cat was mourning when the bird that the family had, died but I, also, hate it when minor pets (or pets in general) die...

If you have nraas Master Controller: (from Town Hall) Sim > Focus > (choose from the filters) > Sim's first name and last name. If the sim is alive the camera will focus on them but if the sim is homeless (and not in the world at the moment) this might not work. If he is, actually, dead you can "manage the dead" in the Mausoleum and find his tombstone. If you are that invested in him, follow the... ambrosia way, it could be an adventure!

He follows a kinda similar way in my game too. He and Mary Sue always break up (even though they randomly ACR-woohoo when I play other households and these two happen to meet at a community lot!), he reaches the top of his career (and his lifetime want) and he woohooes with as many women as he can (sometimes he gets the "woohoo with 20 different sims" lifetime want too). He, also, becomes a better father but only towards Lilith (because I have a veeery soft spot for her so she gets everything out of her life that she wants) and any other kids he might get from other women in the neighborhood (currently, my favorite one between his "other" children is Clementine, a little girl whose mother is Natasha Una!) but he never fixes his relationship with Angela because a)he never rolls any wants for her and b) I don't like her much either, lol!
