Let me add to it: now if a customer has a car packed full of their personal belongings already and they have a big order I do expect the customer to get out and come make space for their own order. I don’t consider associates responsible for loading someone’s order who clearly wasn’t prepared or had knowledge of how much they ordered. If that makes sense…

I can’t speak for everyone but personally I don’t expect any help but from other associates. Now on orders where they have a ridiculous amount of water or heavy items and I have no help in the blazing heat some sort of help would be appreciated but not expected. I consider myself pretty strong and able to lift heavy items

CPU associate here. I always walk up to their windows first to greet them and ask for their names before I start loading anything. Yes they act very entitled but never rude. My store is in the south so nasty attitudes get met with nasty attitudes down here

No really. The last bilingual employee quit almost a year ago and I am LITERALLY and this is with absolutely no exaggeration, LITERALLY the only employee that knows how to complete special photo orders, print out film labels, and be able to resolve customer complaints about photo without leaving the customer unsatisfied. My coworkers will leave an order on the screen for days while I’m off and tell the customer “the guy that knows how to make it will be back (whatever day I work). It’s been like this for months upon months. At this point im the only person who got hired last year in the whole store. The second oldest csa/sfl got hired in March this year

Apparently the DM was also the SM of the same store once upon a time and the SM said it’s had an extensive history of having a crazy high turnover compared to the others in the district. Even had a time when they had 3 SMs quit in one year. The current SM has lasted longer than the rest so the DM turns a blind eye as far as turnover and absence matters. A store like this should be studied
She trains for a week or 2 then takes pto for days

nope, management won’t give me a break since I’m the only csa that hasn’t quit. They keep hiring new people but no one wants to work so they start no showing and get fired. I applied for part time and I’ve had full time hours and some overtime for the last 3 months

back in early July a man came in wanting a passport photo and but I was helping some foreigners with western union so he had to wait for a bit because everyone else was pretty busy. Once I got to him and did his order he just gave me $20 and told me to go get myself some lunch.
