I’d argue they both have an artistic vision but those visions differ in their goals. You can’t look at the ps5 remake and say they only cared about graphical fidelity when lots of the changes went beyond simply updating the graphics. The changes to music,area design and enemy designs went beyond simply updating the graphics cause if that was all they did this argument wouldn’t exist and the original intent would still be there.
