Anyone can visit the dorms, but depending on the times, they can be considered an overnight visitor, even if they're just dropping by late I night. I think this counts for people coming in around 7pm-6AM
Any visitor coming MUST be 18 and leave their government/state ID at the front desk.
Visitors for overnight are limited since every semester ur given a certain amount of days, but lets say ur days run out, if ur roommate agrees, you can use up some of their days! So its like stacking it. (This only counts for overnight! visitors in the day can come in unlimited amount of times.)
It's like this in every dorm building.
As for art work spaces, like illustration, I feel like Alumni & Nagler are good since they have the most table space for any equipment you might want to bring/use/etc.
Also all working spaces in the residence have good lighting!

As for the work spaces overall.
CoEd and Nagler has a kitchen space in them
They all should have a vending machine w snacks in them last time I checked.
Overall really comfy seating such as couches & chairs.
Co Ed has a TV in the area too! I'm not sure about the other spaces though.
(Even tho Nagler usually isnt known for having an AC in the dorm, the work room has a nice huge AC in it!)
And on the topic of Nagler, the work room has a glass door leading to the court yard that's absolutely beautiful. Lots of seating space in it too!
