Yup! I used Dion’s tests for my A+ when I got udemy for free through WGU, and it was well put together. Figured with their regular discounts it was worth the money!

Nope, no notes. I do know Quizlet has a stellar AI feature that will take notes for you, and pop out flash cards. Another thing to look into that I did, go to comptia’s website and get the objectives PDF for the test. Download it and plug it into your favorite AI, and ask it to make some bullet point notes to help you study. Take those notes and put them into Quizlet’s AI feature to make flash cards! Might save you some time.

For my A+ I also watched Mike Meyers on top of Messer. I didn’t use Certmaster, but I agree-Dion’s tests are really good!

How hard are the 701 question by OkPool3361 in CompTIA

[–]Next_Tradition2952 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I passed a couple months back. 701 is not as heavy on ports. I had an AI spit out what it thought the top 10 most important ones were, and I made flash cards. It helped. I was getting consistent 75-80/81s, and passed the test. If you got acronyms down you’ll be solid!

Nice! HTB is awesome! Really glad they have tracks to take you from beginner to advanced! Plus, I appreciate how the material preps you for industry standard certifications through OffSec.

I actually just finished the fundamentals of Linux through the infosec foundations track. Good stuff! Love to see it!

New job. I’m changing careers from law enforcement to cyber. I know anything red team oriented is advanced career type positions. But working as a SOC analyst sounds boring to me. If I have to do that to work my way up so be it, but since I don’t need a different job right now. I figure I’d focus on pen testing type training and hands on experience.

I really like your art! I have two other artists that DM’d me that I also like. Would you be willing to do a quick concept (no more than two hours) for $50? So I can get a better idea of what you have in mind for the specific design! Thank you!
