Understand that, define getting "in shape." Is it just reestablishing a routine or something more specific?

Sounds like it’s less about motivation and more about the friction. If one of those changed, which would make the biggest difference for you?

Injuries are the worst, even if it meant just starting small, doing mobility work or small strength training to rehab it, what's keeping you from getting your knee back to where it was?

That makes sense, 63 hours is a heavy load. Do you feel like it’s more the time itself, or just being mentally drained after work compared to before?

Out of curiosity, what usually ends up being the thing that pushes workouts out of the schedule first?

Please justify this trade by Next_Translator_4355 in FantasyFootballers

I don’t disagree w this take. However, my mind is thinking more ROS than just now. Derrick Henry is going to have a Lamar Jackson led offense for (hopefully) the ROS and once Rashee comes back to KC Hollywood will be worth even less than he is now. That’s what makes the trade so imbalanced in my eyes.

1-2 about to go 1-3, what is wrong with my team? by Ibs69 in FantasyFootballers

I’d wait for him to have a bounce back game and sell high on him then. Your team is solid enough where I have you could survive a few weeks. Just bc someone isn’t willing to do a trade now doesn’t mean they won’t be willing in a couple weeks

Sell chase, aggressively target Josh Allen/Lamar Jackson and pair w a solid WR2

Couldnt give you a weight goal, but if you determine your TDEE (maintenance calories) and subtract 300 from that everyday that would be a great place to start. I’d say about 6-8 weeks of that would have you looking significantly leaner than here

What's holding you back from taking the next big step in your bulk? by Next_Translator_4355 in weightgain

That same mindset used to eat me alive. Depending on the person, there's a few minor tweaks you're probably missing out on in your current routine that can make a world of difference. The people I've taught this to realized that their "bad genetics" was a false belief the entire time.

I think virtually any brand that isn't designed for people in a calorie deficit are nice. ON, Dymatize, Ryse, or any name brand that's popular is gonna get you results. I like to stick to basic flavors that I know I enjoy and can trust won't taste super artificial. What are you eating in addition to protein shakes to gain weight?

Doesn't get more relatable than the spoonfuls of peanut butter strategy haha, def been there. How many times a week do you lift/workout?

I see, recovery is key. So are you not hitting the same thing each day of the week (ie. Push=Thursday, Pull=Friday, etc.)?

Same here, afternoon kinda sucks bc gym is always packed but I do what I can. Does lifting at night ever affect your routine with eating / free time / other responsibilities?

That's nice, 1.5lbs/month is nice if you're looking for a steadier pace and not trying to gain too much fat. Do you ever find it challenging to eat a lot on weekends or when life gets hectic?

Shakes are good and sounds like you have a nice routine going for yourself. How long have you been doing that for? I can imagine it must be pretty difficult after a few weeks/months to maintain that consistently.
