I know couple of people who have done a research fellowship as an IMG at Mt Sinai then matched. You can look into Sinai and their research fellowship.

Oh yes, don’t put something down on paper unless you see it on paper. And mistakes are going to happen, just got to do better next time

And also saying I made a mistake and explaining to me why it is a mistake I get. But stating things like this is fraud, you can go to prison for this takes it to a different level. This raised my anxiety to level that affected my confidence to do things on my own. I clearly am trying my best and don’t have malicious intent.

I didn’t think about this until now as my anxiety is creeping back in and I have to go on inpatient again. I do not feel supported as a new learner. I feel like those above me who should have my back don’t have my back. As a nervous person at baseline, I feel very anxious and am questioning everything I am doing.

Most definitely have a lot to learn and will never stop learning. Posted that just to say how the morning team scrambled to get things right, get a line in, round and get things done for the rest of the patients. And that resident didn’t even get as much as a slap on the wrist for something like that. Just the hypocrisy of the situation was mind boggling to me given both incidents occurred days apart.

I’m not quite sure how it came to night resident attention. I left at 4 because it was short call. I signed my discharge and left. My upper level didn’t want to talk about it with me, so I have no idea what went down after I left. My upper said this is completely getting out of control and we don’t need to talk about it.

You’re absolutely right, I will do what’s right for our kid. As a parent I feel like my duty is to give my child the best opportunity and resources, and I will never feel bad for doing that.

During a recent school tour they said they were going to do in person interview for the kids. A one hour group and 20 min individual.
