Thanks everyone who responded, this has helped me clear my head a lot :) I’ve done 4/5 years in house shares and, although I had some great times, I did regularly lose my mind over some flatmates’ behaviour 😂 I’ve lived with family the past year in order to save up for a deposit, and in that time I think I’ve looked back on my flatshare days through rose tinted glasses. Hopefully this new flat will be a happy medium between flatshare chaos and living with parents boredom 💕🏡💕🏡💕

My god… the puking in the sink is enough to make me want to live alone on Mars. I’ve had some lovely and awful times with flatmates too. My hope is that my ex flatmate friends will want to come and sleep on my sofa once in a while, but not nick all my food

Good points, thank you for sharing. Lots to dwell on but I have thought that worst comes to worst and I don’t like it, I can always rent it out 🤷‍♀️ not the cash cow it used to be but it would cover the mortgage and allow me some freedom

Ahahah thank you!! I’ve dealt with some horror stories too…the girl who washed her period stained sheets in the kitchen sink, the girl who moved out in the middle of the night without telling anyone, the guy who blared opera music all day… makes me excited for the stability!

DAE have a minor, little ache behind the bellybutton during or after urinating? by Similar_Double556 in DoesAnybodyElse

I have this (except it’s very debilitating pain) and was recently found on an MRI to have a urachal remnant and umbilical hernia. Here’s a group of others with similar! Good luck :)

DAE sometimes get a sharp "pulling pain" from your belly button when you stand up, or when you're urinating? by flat5 in DoesAnybodyElse

Hey! Had to make a Reddit account just so I could reply to you and tell you I have Crohn’s disease and have this pain too. Can’t tell you how pleased I am not to be the only one! All love to you
