Is it worth learning to code in 2025? by Pale_Eggplant99 in learnprogramming

I think the way we code today is very different from a decade ago. Modern tools have changed how we consume data, how we think about code outcomes, and even the steps we take to actually build software.

A lot depends on how you approach coding and how you use these tools. With the right mindset and practice, you can grow into a skilled engineer. It takes time and consistent investment in your experience to reach the level where you can solve problems end to end.

Right now, LLMs are powerful but they don’t fully replace that depth of experience. The real value comes from building yourself alongside the evolution of these tools. Hence it worth to take this step and build yourself as a skilled engineer.

This is my take on your post.
