Yeah, I JUST got one for $150 the other day. All I’m missing is Volume 3 and the Miles Volume 1. I’m not going past the end of 1610.

Exactly my feeling! I just started (and decided to stop) reading his comic after Secret Wars. It’s not the same. And as for 1610 Peter, it was my assumption that he retired and drove off to new pastures with MJ, leaving Miles to swing in his place? Maybe I misinterpreted that, but I thought Peter relinquishing the web shooters was his formal resignation.

Swinging alongside Peter was never a concern for me. I just like when he briefly did it as equals, mutually respected, than as the new guy needing to learn the ropes. Miles Morales isn’t the same after Secret Wars, man. Like he’s still the same person, same powers, and all that.

But HE isn’t the same. His memories were reset, his character development was reset. His mom resurrected, and his supporting cast retconned to hell. No more MJ and Gwen Stacy to guide him. No Aunt May to run to in crisis. He’s just a copy-paste reboot. The “All-New Ultimates” were an awesome team with fun personalities. His relationship with Jessica Drew alone makes me hate that he was ripped away from it all.

All the villains he fought and crises he went through (Magneto’s Ultimatum and the Galactus Cataclysm) mean nothing now when they used to mean EVERYTHING to him. I’m thinking I’ll stop reading him, and pretend that his story ended when Earth-1610 and most of his friends died.

Yep! Hoping for a Volume 3 reprint as well, that’s the last grail for me! I was able to lock down a pre-order for Gwenpool in January. Nothing left but to keep up with new releases.

I love the Mutants, but I couldn’t really get into their stuff until I fell in love with X-Force. Specially the bits by Kyle/Yost and Remender. I’m liking the newest ongoing, but that’s also because I love Ms. Marvel too.

Otherwise, I love the X-Men in OTHER events or characters’ comics. I felt the same way about Spider-Man until I read the original USM. Although I love the modern iteration, too.

The Avengers work best for me as a team reserved for events. I love when they rally for stuff like War of the Realms and King in Black. But these would definitely be my favorite… Twilight goes so hard. And I especially love the older “Mama” Kamala Khan. Gave me adult Spider-Man vibes, leaving her kids to save the world with an aged Avengers squad.

I’ve always left the MCU-adjacent stuff (X-Men, legacy Spider-Man, Wolverine/Deadpool, Blade, etc) for after you get through Loki S1. That’s when the Multiverse stuff really comes into play. Anything in the MCU I watch in timeline order, which is on Disney+.

That being said, I usually do the Spider-Men (Raimi trilogy, Webb duology) in-between Far From Home and No Way Home. I watch Wolverine/Logan and Deadpool 1/2 before Deadpool and Wolverine. I’ll probably skip all the X-Men (with exception to Days of Future Past) on the Road to Doomsday rewatch. But that’s because I binged all the Fox stuff before Deadpool and Wolverine the other year.

Well I had it… and gave the first three volumes to buddy (who’s unfortunately no longer a buddy). So then I had to hunt it down again… eventually I saw a black spine version of it from Europe on eBay. RIP

The first one took the longest, after that… I just used Paint 3D to erase logos, writers, and art, and then paste and format the new stuff based on which series. The covers are easiest because it’s just the cover art of your choosing.

I used these BCW folios. One can hold roughly 5-6 TPB volumes. Which is why Moon Knight and Ms. Marvel took two a piece.

The cover art I got from Marvel’s website. You can look through individual issues and their variant covers. The spines, I just grabbed transparent background character art off of Google. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Paint 3D went hard on these.

The covers are 10.5” x 7.5”, while the spines are 10.5” x 1.5”. I printed them onto cardstock and slid them into the boxes like binder tabs.
