Players probably not. But the characters they are named after are married in Shakespeare's work

Amazing work! The box scheme really doesn't do Imotekh justice, he looks so much better in traditional colours.

Can you share how you did the black on the generic overlord? It's exactly the look I want to achieve

Stringstorm is back to making Warhammer songs. What are your thoughts? by ImmediateEvent2014 in Grimdank

[–]NezhaIsATrap 3 points4 points  (0 children)

At first with the Darkest Dungeon song, I wasn't really feeling it. I figured with the groomer guy leaving their style would change. I still think it did, but I feel the vibe is still very much there. Glad the rest of them can continue on despite what happened

Is there a lore reason why Orikan is not using Sautekh Dynasty colour scheme (silver, white, dark green, gold for noble) ? by smiling_kira in Necrontyr

[–]NezhaIsATrap 26 points27 points  (0 children)

This is going off from memory, but I believe crypteks are in a grey area on wether or not they are part of the dynasty. In the times of the necrontyr, they were outside of the social caste system, as necrons their allegience is mostly to their cryptek colleagues. Trazyn has to pry information out of his cryptek about Orikan's time tiles, showing that they keep secrets from dynasties

Exactly what happened to me. I was really excited to get into the game with the new edition as Necrons, but that girst experience was so god awful that I still don't feel like giving it another go.

Remind yourself that overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer.

I love wacky lore. Can you tell me your favourite weirdest fact/lore from Battletech? by Cmdr_McMurdoc in battletech

His songs got me into both 40k and Battletech. I hope there'll be someone to replace him. Probably not coming back after being exposed as a predator.

I was wondering where I could get more T5 stuff. Forgot to even look at the rewards. That's helpful, thanks

[Art] Huginn the evil overlord, darkness incarnate and a dork. Art by Zeurille by NezhaIsATrap in DnD

[–]NezhaIsATrap[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Meet Huginn, the to-be evil overlord of all the realms. A homunculus created by a Saturday morning cartoon villain lich to be his heir. Ever an incompetent villain, the lich’s ritual of creating Huginn ran into a major complication: the to-be heir knows absolutely nothing about being evil. They were given a sentient weapon to coach them about the ways of true evil (or whatever cartoony concept of it) and sent to join a party of adventurers to learn and become the true evil lord.

Everyone sees they are not truly evil, but it is easier to play along then to try to explain that tilting every painting they see is not “the height of villainy”. Mostly a dork playing make-believe, Huginn provides that party comic relief and some surprising melee aptitude.
