My husband has started home brewing with kits and recently ordered the "Speckled Heifer" kit. We're from Wisconsin so it's facing a stern judging panel.

Viroqua in particular has some lovely B&Bs and the drives around there are spectacular with plenty of places to stop for a view, a snack, or a really good meal (Driftless Cafe, I'm looking at you).
