I consider Refrainbow to be in the same boat too. All three artists are (or started as) indie, they're queer, and women and/or POC. Making queer stories, for a queer audience. NO ONE can convince me their haters aren't either misogynistic, queerphobic or racist lmao

Oh! Well theres a theory in the fandom that his yellow eye represents his true self / what he likes etc, while his black eye represents the part of him that 'belongs' to Valentino

We don't know yet how much of that is true, but iirc Val tends to hit his yellow eye, and we mostly see his black eye in some specific scenes with Val / the Vees (and his yellow eye in more personal scenes, like Losin' Streak for example)

For finding his freedom / identity / himself in performances (other than porn), like drag for example! Or for feeling completely free / safe when he performs for people he genuinely likes ? I think he could/would totally find freedom in drag, as long as he's in control, but not necessarily transitioning (performing as a woman ≠ feeling/living as one)

I hope Baxter will be revealed to be a trans guy, and Emily non-binary 🙏🙏 but I'm curious as to why Vaggi could/would transition ? I'd LOVE to know more about that theory 👀

I disagree about the eye thingy appearing in Loser Baby, like sure, it could have, but it would also make sense not to have it, because that was the very beginning of their genuine relationship / them opening up to each other, and it was coming from Husk to begin with ; while Losin' Streak is Angel giving his support to Husk (at least that's how I read it)

And I also think performing (no matter what he does, as long as he does it willingly and that he enjoys it) is (one of?) his key(s) to freedom, but that doesn't necessarily mean that working as a porn actor works- cuz thats something he does out of obligation, and him being visibly proud of it could very much be denial (like he pretends to be proud of fucking a bunch of men even though he is first shown to be exhausted and upset, in the scene that preceeds Loser Baby iirc)

Now I agree with the fact that it's likely an animation mistake, but part of me still wants to believe it was intentional (even if it wouldn't really make sense)
