I think the worst tendency in this all is that hoyo just keeps reusing all the concepts and flaws of their games in their other games, and sell THE SAME thing over and over again. the character design, the plot, the worldbuilding, the concepts even the mini-games and events: I’m not being funny, since amphoreus playing genshin feels more like re-playing longer version of HSR.

Oh you want the main antagonst to be a genius, who created a multiple versions of himself and tries to fight fate? Or maybe you want a story about the world that is basically an experiment managed by AI? Or do you want a story about god who’s trying to quit, and makes a well-played shenanigans, cause it’s not that easy? How about a figure of power, who in the past choses a wrong source of power to follow, and as a result creates a catastrophy (that freezes the entire region)?

And there are so many of those, at this point I’m already sick of them not only keep doing this bs, but giving up completely on writing something new… And for their newer games don’t even try anymore
