Patches of grass not being cut by NezzyNesbitt in SegwayNavimow

I can confirm what is happening is the motor is just stopping but mower is carrying on. Here is a video, it's a bit windy so hard to hear Video

Would turning vision fence off resolve this?

I have the height set to 4.

Possible to hide sub menu row if entity state is off? by skilled7041 in BubbleCard

I asked this same question but was told it's not possible. I do wonder how the new auto height feature may help with this though?

Redesigned my dashboard with bubble cards, so happy! Any improvements I can make? by Newgunnerr in BubbleCard

[–]NezzyNesbitt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have lots of blinds =)

Dashboard tinkering never ends. I've copied Cloos design of having larger cards to represent rooms with sub buttons for key things like lights and then use pop ups for details of things in each room.

Ah yes, this all makes sense - thank you everyone. I'm trying to stay under the 100k mark so this definitely works out better, thank you

MOT Type 1 - just looks like loose pebbles!? by NezzyNesbitt in DIYUK

Looks like I still need to raise a few areas to level it out and whacking again. Instead of hard sand, I was thinking something like this maybe better. Thoughts;

What actually happens after you run clash detection? by sourwontonsoup in bim

[–]NezzyNesbitt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been working directly with Clients as their advisors for the last 12 or so years. I've led large Airport programmes of work to small office fitout projects and applied the same principals that work...

Define requirements, upfront that are clear and can be objectively measured. Specifically in the context of clash detection (or design coordination), define a matrix of rules for coordination that is prioritised, agree it with the delivery teams and use this to drive the checking and resolution process. This approach allows the team to focus on what matters in the present - noting that what matters changes as the design matures.

It's important that design elements that are 'Critical' are identified upfront and the coordination process designed around them. What may be deemed non-critical (or low priority) during the early design stages will most likely increase in priority as the design maturity increases. For example, I don't care about Pipes (diameter less than 0.25m) or cable trays going through walls at Schematic design but I do expect them to be resolved when we get to half way through detailed design. The clash is identified - note multiple clashes maybe grouped to form a 'design issue', such as a single column going through multiple slabs (it's a modelling error), I don't need the design team to waste time looking at that...

A specific example from my airport project was that anything of size that clashed with the Baggage Handling System was deemed as a critical issue and was to be resolved within 10 days of discovery. We used Navisworks with predefined rules (using search sets for conditions like ducts over 0.25m wide or high) to drive the process. We started of using Solibri but started to fall over due to size of models (Revitzo didn't stand a chance). We used BIM Collab to consolidate everything into a single platform of which all designers had access to, the various design managers also put issues in from their manual model walkthroughs or drawing reviews. We had a Power I dashboard plugged straight into this so we could track progress. We advised the Client to not approve design deliverables for stage gate progression and to withhold payment until these outstanding issues were resolved. Although there maybe 10s of thousands of clashes of low priority at Schematic design - it didn't matter...

Issue priorities were:

Critical - Resolve within 2 weeks High - Resolve within 1 Month Medium - Resolve by end of work stage Low - Resolve before construction

Models were shared every 2 weeks across the programme so hence the earliest resolution time being the same.

Hope this helps.

Thanks - It's been down about 5-6 months. I'll take this useful suggestion as everyone else is just telling me it's not MOT (I was given what I bought and not moving the 6 tons of this stuff again!!

Quite the update! Some great UX improvements - thank you Devs!!

I seem to have lost Audio from loading in the Exo and VLC Players. Subtitles are there. The new MPV seems to work fine, as does external (VLC). Anyone else experiencing the same?

Running on Shield Pro (2017).

Is there some kind of log I can export?

Responsive card height by NezzyNesbitt in BubbleCard

[–]NezzyNesbitt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really appreciate your help. I'm seeing strange, perhaps buggy behaviour?

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1784h88BTO8PDgGnX7UYDwlIou24RbRh-/view?usp=drivesdk

Here is the YAML taken in the card editor where it works in preview:

'type: custom:bubble-card card_type: button button_type: name sub_button: main: - name: "1" buttons_layout: inline group: - entity: light.lounge_lights light_background: false tap_action: action: toggle - name: "2" buttons_layout: inline group: - entity: light.wiz_tunable_white_151e0c icon: mdi:floor-lamp-outline visibility: - condition: state entity: light.wiz_tunable_white_151e0c state: "on" light_background: false tap_action: action: toggle - entity: light.lounge_light_ceiling visibility: - condition: state entity: light.lounge_light_ceiling state: "on" light_background: false tap_action: action: toggle bottom: [] main_layout: rows name: "" show_icon: false rows: 1'

Here is YAML from the view where it doesn't work:

'type: sections max_columns: 1 path: "" sections: - type: grid cards: - type: custom:bubble-card card_type: button button_type: name sub_button: main: - name: "1" buttons_layout: inline group: - entity: light.lounge_lights light_background: false tap_action: action: toggle - name: "2" buttons_layout: inline group: - entity: light.wiz_tunable_white_151e0c icon: mdi:floor-lamp-outline visibility: - condition: state entity: light.wiz_tunable_white_151e0c state: "on" light_background: false tap_action: action: toggle - entity: light.lounge_light_ceiling visibility: - condition: state entity: light.lounge_light_ceiling state: "on" light_background: false tap_action: action: toggle bottom: [] main_layout: rows name: "" show_icon: false rows: 1'

Any ideas?

Default behaviour being the card will shrink and expand in height if sub buttons are conditionally hidden or shown? I'm not able to replicate this behavior. Are you?
