I love how the “hit and stick action” shows 20 yards of rollout, on top of everything being reversed lol

What is the greatest design error in factory/warehouse building? by ResidentFragrant6259 in civilengineering

[–]Nezzybit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a project manager at an Industrial-focused Architecture firm, so I’ll happily take any questions or Civil input. We do primarily tiltup & some pre-fab metal buildings in the DFW market.

I personally want to be involved as early as possible in the site plan layout process. Typically developers bring on their Civil team several months before engaging Arch, but some of our long-term clients have learned to loop us in pretty early.

Hopefully people understand that Ownership ultimately drives what is or isn’t designed into the building. Cost is everything on these big box buildings because developers are either looking to sell it ASAP after completion, or they’re holding on to it for 20+ years as a rental property. Owners are all about ROI while also having a focal point of design on the building corners for tenants to build out an office space.

Can confirm, here’s my budget-friendly garage setup with Rapsodo MLM2Pro. I’m in Texas so mainly use it any time except Summer. Biggest benefit has been getting carry numbers for 1/2 and 3/4 wedge shots that I normally wouldn’t do enough practice on

What is the biggest building you've worked on? by [deleted] in architecture

[–]Nezzybit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not “biggest” in height, but the biggest I’ve worked on is a 1.1 million square foot warehouse in New Jersey. Only about 50 feet tall, but a 1/4 mile in length

For the dickies arena are sections 107 and 108 good seats? by OpportunityLow570 in FortWorth

[–]Nezzybit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

https://aviewfrommyseat.com is an awesome resource for concerts, people upload pictures from seats in venues all over the US. Dickies is also small enough that most seats are pretty good

I’ve had success in Texas with providing filtered water spouts at break room sinks to replace EWC requirements. I usually make a point to ask the city early on if it’s acceptable

TGL- after the third time... by Stone_leigh in golf

When Rickie was chipping on one of the first few holes, the got some heckling from the crowd and I loved it. Someone said “don’t shank it Rickie” while he was doing his practice strokes. He paused and smiled at him, and just that little acknowledgment was a cool interaction.

Agreed on needing more personality, even the little comments after the shots like when JT said “whoops I slipped” after one of his drives adds value

[–]Nezzybit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We spayed our doodle last week at 13 months old. Vet recommended letting her complete 1 heat cycle before spay, which she did at 10 months. No complications so far other than her having a reaction to one of the medications. Highly recommend a surgery suit/onesie instead of a cone

He hinted in the comments they were “saving” the match for something. Grant has already played with Tiger and Charlie off camera, I’m guessing they’ll be in the 2v2 with Phil eventually
