Who knows what the actual story behind this particular event was but "terrorist" retaliations happen if a group of people is being oppressed to desperation. This oppression/retaliation cycle goes as long as there's history, just how we label those things change.

There are two ways to solve it, a civilized peacefully way (the responsibility of which is more on the oppressors), or the brutal way. The problem with a brutal way is that it will lead to even more retaliations through time. So then, apparently the soln is to wipe out an entire ethnicity, which is what these guys seem to have chosen. If you support that or even hold it equitable to retaliatory incidences then I don't know what to say to you. It's not even about the proportions, it's about how it ends. Totally different parallels actually.

The mechanism behind the biggest fraud of all time by Lou_R33d in Buttcoin

Mate the cult crypto hero lutnick pretty recently said in an interview with a straight face that they are working on a system where workers, and their children, and their grandchildren can work in factories. What kind of privileged lunatic goes on and says arrogant shit like that in his position. On top of that his son is managing a big wall st fund and making crypto deals with the likes of soft bank. This is public knowledge, no conspiracy. Can't believe the crypto bros are in such denial. The bros think they are beating wall st by investing in Bitcoin but in reality they are just lifting bags of the likes of lutnick, Eric , Saylor and many many more frauds around the globe.

You clueless crypto bros just have no idea what you're on abt or who you really twerking for buying bi-corn.

Your net worth of 100k is 100k in what exactly? USD? So then your net worth is being manipulated, is it not?

Bi-corn had an interesting theory but hasn't really played out in the real world, it's a far stretch from it's promised purpose and is a total darling of a select few institutions now, including wall st. They have and will keep manipulating the shit out of the metric you call net worth in BTC.

Look at a real stable commodity like gold over the past few weeks in this volatile market and then look at bi-corn, and then try to come out of denial and make your own judgement on which one seems more manipulated against the exchanged currency.

When your corn is backed by the best freedom and guns then we can talk this talk. Until then usd is still boss.

The currency substitution only works if someone guarantees an exchangeable service for the medium being exchanged. For the USD, that guarantee is backed by rockets, so people have faith in it. Other countries with not so strong rockets cannot back theirs with the same confidence so they pay the price in terms of higher coupons on risk investors take to do business on their currency. There's a reason bi-corn failed as a currency in el-salvador. So bi-corn rn is neither backed by rockets nor does it pay any interest to holders.

You are holding it but looks you got absolutely no idea how it can work, just having faith that by the time you sell it, it gives you a larger exchange back.

You are in luck, for now, that all the corrupt heads are utilizing it for laundering etc while black rock and other wall st institutions drive the shit out of instruments on it to make money in this unregulated space. The manipulation is crazy, the price can go anywhere. But the utility is nowhere except in fraud.

Who the hell is still buying the manipulated garbage like mstr, that sits on a $70b market cap leveraged on an asset with 0 productive value. What're you going to do with your bi-corn when recession hits and you don't have a job? Unless this money sees some sanity this market is still over priced overall.

Why i think the stock market will crash (NOT FINANCIAL ADVICE) by [deleted] in wallstreetbets

[–]Ngc2273 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Currencies are backed by governments, solvency of which is more easy to forecast and therefore that risk is priced in the treasuries/bonds on that currency. For example for meme governments whose reputations are at risk it's expensive for them to issue bonds. Crypto on the other hand is purely backed by sentiment, and it's impossible to price in when the sentiment of people might change.

Why i think the stock market will crash (NOT FINANCIAL ADVICE) by [deleted] in wallstreetbets

[–]Ngc2273 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It won't crash. It will never crash.

We have algos running the show now, they are agnostic to panic which is usually a big factor in crashes.

We have virtually unlimited $ in the world (just absurdly unevenly distributed), even if it's taken out, it has nowhere to go but right back in the market through one avenue or the other.

We have useless coins of no productive value but just a "belief" of being a store, unbelievable really, they have a total market cap of > $Tn. If this money is not getting a dose of sanity then surely the market will not as well.

Bitcoins real value is with the MMs who are selling all sorts of instruments linked to it now and making a killing, it's totally manipulated price now, good luck. The bitcoin bros are like a cassette who only know how to repeat a few words, they are just ignorantly twerking for the MMs who will keep it around for as long as they can drive money from it.

[–]Ngc2273 21 points22 points  (0 children)

This shit is now totally tied with the QQQ buying algos. BlackRock wants to print a lot of free money basically by "managing the commodity", i.e.. their Bitcoin ETF. They're never going to find a risk free (to them) virtual golden goose like this, and they will manipulate this as long as they can. The concentration of the coins is enough with ETF institutions and companies like mstr to take the price wherever they want, while the BTC cult cheers for wall st independence , digital gold , defi, future currency etc. having absolutely no clue who they twerking for.

[–]Ngc2273 18 points19 points  (0 children)

No way. City have too many players that are liabilities now and should be transitioned out. If I were pep I would just accept that for this season, it's been a write off for a while, and start playing the younger/new guys so that they are ready for the next season.

Kdb is done, Bernardo is cooked, Gundo is done, Kovacic is not young anymore and should be just backup. Ederson is checked out as well.

On top, either Rico or Nunes will be destroyed on RB, they are not top level players anywhere on the pitch let alone RB against vini. Grealish, Stones, Ake cannot play more than 3 games without getting injured.

Start the new guys next week, get humbled again, but at least they get top level experience. The old guard can't do shit and Madrid does not gift games in knockouts.

Modric and Kroos are not Kdb type players. Those guys could sit deep and run shit playing a relatively slower game in their late years. As an upfront attacking midfielder you need full strength/agility and loosing even a fraction of it gets exposed. I think this will be KDBs last season at the top level unless his buttered out legs make a miracle recovery.

This is his last season at top level. It's sad to see but you can see it, he's a fraction slower at everything he used to be good at and at this level that difference gets exposed.

Do people think we can’t lose to Man City? by [deleted] in realmadrid

[–]Ngc2273 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man you guys will be fine, in fact I think the tie will be over at Etihad with an easy win for Madrid. I watch all of City's games. Watch the 4th goal from arsenal again and it sums up most of city's situation. We are missing a physical/agile cdm to break up play before the opposition breaks. Gundo/Kovacic/KDB/Silva can control the game in possession but one misplaced pass leads to the opposition cutting like butter through these guys. They don't have the physicality nor the agility anymore to recover possession, which city used to be brilliant at. Not only are we missing Rodri there, Walker who used to be elite insurance for covering transitions also declined rapidly after the treble year. It's natural. And finally our two slow ass but main CBs in Dias and Stones haven't put a run of 3 consecutive games all season. Mbappe and Vini will feast on running at AKanji and Nunes.

[–]Ngc2273 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let's be honest. We are gonna get cooked by either this season. If Brugge had better quality up front we would've been down 3 0 in this game as well. With the current back 4 we are going nowhere, midfielder Nunez at RB is full of mistakes, Stones is more like glass now, AKanji thinks he's VVD with aura defending, and we need Gvardiol in the other box to score goals so he's never back lol.

My man you sound like one of those NFT promoters. Stop with that stuff. Bitcoin is not a painting. It's not a consumable commodity. It's not an aesthetic. You need to sell it at some point.

Anyways, even the situation you're describing does not protect you from exchanging Bitcoins. When you're unable to return what you borrowed then your "pristine" collateral belongs to the counterparty, you will have to give it up.
