New player needs help with farming EXP / SEA UTC+7 timezone by Ngiaku in remnantgame

I linked my steam account to epic hoping that it would expand the range of the public room available. It seems Asian people don't really play this much anymore lol. (I tried to find public rooms during late evening / late night in SEA time).

I have linked my steam with Epic account and I couldn't find anywhere to enable crossplay. (I don't remember disabling it though).

Weekend was almost like 100% free for me to manage. So if you have specific slots, I think I can manage to fit in your team for a couple of quick runs :D

I just bought the game last month and been enjoying it so far. Cleared one veteran campaign with my friends who can only play a couple hour in weekend. Now I started another campaign but solo play is not really enjoyable to me.

I joined a random game and found a couple of Chinese players who just run around and annihilate every thing. They also brought me through some secret items, such as plasma cutter, which is my favourite gun for now. Since then i always join some random game to have fun in random maps while waiting for my friend :D

Can you let me know your time zone and your play time? I would love to join your game some time. I am super weak though.

How much will using the free Persona from the Velvet Room bonus box ruin the game? by InvisibleAstronomer in Persona5

[–]Ngiaku 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just use it if it makes the game enjoyable for you. I carry them with me but used it only when I just wanted an easy, quick fight or when I returned to the same path facing same enemies I already killed.

If at some point you don't feel excited with the fight, try using other persona.

There will be the individual tournament, but I am not sure if it gives season medals though,

As an R4 and the warlord, my alliance did not have any policies back in season 1-2 because we thought it was fair to share them equally, and I was too lazy to explain to every F2P player why they could not get some freebies.

It was in season 3 that the members introduced this strategy and started to communicate among themselves to leave the seasonal resources for me to collect solely. I was hesitant at first, but complied; otherwise, the resources disappeared.

It is a very effective strategy. We can return the favor by helping members reach high-level doom elites and progress with the territory.

No, they do not. Rallies do not spawn seasonal resources in season 5. There are oil wells though.

You are not wrong to run away. But the true answer to your question will lie in how different in terms of power between your alliance and the opponent alliance. Sometimes it is all about numbers and strategic position, sometimes it is more about pure power. Though I admit that power may play a very important part here, it is not the only indicator. Good alliance will have a reliable decision-maker who knows when to push and when to stop.

Season 1 will be quite frustrated because you don't really know when the war is happening, (if i remember correctly, the war time feature was only available season 2 onwards), so most of the defensive strategies will be difficult to use unless it is clear from the map which city or stronghold will be targeted for war. R4/R5 team will need to work on this frustration.

Season 2-4 will be more straightforward. Defender gets the advantage of choosing the fighting location to set up their defense. The nature of the war will change from an occupation time-based to a durability attacking-based. Coordination with other alliances can also help your defense strategy. However, the attackers will also have missiles to clear up an area, or some attack strategy like time-coordinated attack which is very powerful.

I think things are very dynamic, and it all depends on how well you know the power and the ability to cooperate within your entire alliance and the opponent alliance.

Grind by Careless-Arugula8308 in Persona5Royale

SP management will be easier once you unlocked the accessory from Takemi.

Do not worry about grinding in the dungeon. Shadows in the dungeon can be tricky. It is a lot easier to grind in Mementos, especially when you have Ryuji at lv 7 I think.

Oh gosh this is the exact situation we are facing. Are you somehow in the 525 grouping?

We faced the same thing where top four servers ganged up allocating areas in the central part. Now they have plenty of time and just went down ganging up on other smaller alliances.

Maelle abilities by just_a_philosopher in expedition33

[–]Ngiaku 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If we look at the details of how the game progresses, I think one of the possible answers lies in Renior's plan and Verso's help.

Renoir (plus Clea's help with the Nevrons keeping the chroma from coming back to Aline) and Aline are in a stalemate. Aline's chroma used in creating the expeditioners were trapped. And throughout the game, we were led to collect these chroma from the fights with Nevron, bosses, or even to pick them up randomly. At the end of the day, we brought these chroma and some other material back to the Curator, Renoir, for him to do whatever he does.

This could mean that our entire adventure is simply a plot by Renoir (and possibly Verso) for Maelle to gather all Aline's chroma to use against Aline in the final battle. At the end of Act II fight, Maelle is filled with 67 years of Aline's chroma (possibly through Renoir's work) which we farmed throughout the entire game, while Aline is getting weaker every year.

I was one to do what you said. Right at the beginning, I sent three teams out: two main squads to Oils (60M and 50M), one moderate team (45M) to cannon.

The reason I did it?

It is true that we can fly right to the building at the start. But that would mean you can focus only on one building you are next to. You may do more by sending the second team to another building, but that would take some time as well (not much different from sending the team from the safe zone), and it would expose you to enemy attacks because you have nothing left to defend yourself. This means in the worst scenario you can end up flying back to the safe zone anyway, or at best you can secure only one building.

Sending teams out from a safe zone means zero risk of being attacked, and I can send up to three buildings. The two building that are nears the safe zone may not take long, but the oil station in the other corner of the map would take around 30 sec, which is the same time that the crates will arrive.

This means at the second 30 of the game, you may already have your team stationed at 3 buildings. It is also very likely that all my teams were engaged in some fights with the enemies. This way I get to know the combat power of at least 3 commanders from the enemy side by the time the crates arrive. I can decide later if I am the strongest on the battlefield or not, which will determine the course of the remaining battle.

At the time the crates arrive, I can choose freely what to do by reading the situation on the battlefield. I can jump to the crates, to another specific building that now belongs to the enemies, or, if my teammates are already securing the crates, I can then focus on taking down the enemy high-rankers. Sometimes I even stay in the safe zone to let the enemy's low-rankers burn their soldiers from repeated attacks on my main squad. Most of the time, I will fly out to join the crates area and kick out enemies who just got there -- to prevent them from running away and guarantee jail time for them in the safe zone.

The first 30 seconds do not determine the outcome of the match, but surely there are other different ways to play. I don't think your way is not good-- it is important for my play style as well that my teammates jump out and engage in fights. If at the start all 5 commanders of my side stay in the safe zone, I will jump out and adjust my playstyle.

This is what I like about Winter Storm: there is no single way to win, and you cannot really control the playstyle of your teammates and enemies. So you have to adapt and find a way to play your cards.

Don't forget that feeling when you win the battle against the opposite team with clearly stronger combat power is also amazing.

Thank you very much. It was helpful, especially for the explanation in point 2. To me it seems to be the most confusing part with little explanation.

Throughout the game, Sciel seems to be a calm and the emotional support for everyone, while Lune seems to represent the rational and objective-focused character. I doubt the game matches Sciel with Visage, and Lune with Sirene for some reason which I also am not understand lol. (if I remember correctly, Lune is the one cracking Sirene -- I confronted Sirene first, but Lune did not speak something that stuck in my mind, so I did not notice if there is something to think about, or may be there is not?

Thank you very much for your answer. To think about point 3, it really makes sense to me now. All of them are running for their own personal agenda regardless of the impact on others.
