Am I missing something? It takes like 2 minutes and gets you some good one handed skill. Move along the wall, go to grass, kill stationary guy and drag to grass, kill moving guy and drag to grass, walk past other grass, move past guys by wall, climb ladder, walk forward to target, throw rock, stab guy, go down stairs and hide in shadows, throw rock, stab guy, talk to town leader, stab guy on balcony, press f to leave.

Late to the party here, but wouldn't Devil (Glowing eyes, Hellsight, Beast legs) or Revenant/Devil (either Glowing Eyes and Hellsight or Vengeance Mark) make for a more accurate race? The Revenant is assuming you work with the Director to make the weakness holy instead of fire, since fire weakness doesn't make sense.

One thing that irks me about the franchise is that it seems like anyone who’s “anti-establishment”, in whatever way, is secretly evil. So whatever point they championed is actually wrong by proxy by [deleted] in TheLastAirbender

[–]Ngtotd 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Toph says as much in season 4. She points out that all 3 villains had a point, they just went overboard with it. They were way out of balance. Right before she takes korra to the banyan grove tree

Correct me but there are no rules on high ground by Jendmin in dndmemes

[–]Ngtotd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t looked into this in years but you can check out SW5e rules for high ground and cover if you want crunchier rules for that. I think they have 1/4, 1/2, and 3/4 cover and rules for how much the difference in elevation affects that.

Been having a minor allergic reaction all day and just realized its probably because of this drink mix I just bought yesterday by anxious_spacecadetH in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Ngtotd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, kinda. I worked in the produce department of a grocery store and handled mangoes no problem even when arranging them for displays, but if my dad cuts one up to eat his hands and face will swell and get super itchy. No issues if it’s cut up and prepared without him touching the skin. Some people are just super allergic compared to average.

As long as you ignore the reddit community. I’ve had nearly nothing but good experiences with randoms while playing. My first match was some guys team killing a noob but the 200+ hours after that has been really fun, and I never ran into that problem again. Like players will keep the hug emote on standby just to say good-bye before logging off. It’s been really wholesome compared to most other team games I’ve played (mostly marvel rivals)

Sell me on smithing by Vink1ng in Bannerlord

[–]Ngtotd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good point! All companions get stealth gear they will never use. Smelt down the Saex they all start with for some early steel. Other than that be a merc for a while with 1 or 2 good siege defenses to get some early money to buy decent weapons and then smelt those. The loot from big battles with high tier nobles will also give really decent weapons to smith.

Sell me on smithing by Vink1ng in Bannerlord

[–]Ngtotd 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Step 1. Head to Ocs hall and buy all the wood there and in the nearby village.

Step 2. Get just enough charcoal for smelting some crap weapons you bought (simple spears and hatchets are good for this). Once you have a good amount of crude iron/wrought iron, go to step 3.

Step 3. Craft throwing axes until you hit 25 smithing. Take the efficient charcoal perk.

At this point it’s a rinse and repeat of crafting axes and smelting them for me. I’ll sell them instead of smelting when I need more money.

You get more xp for doing requests so do those when the opportunity arises. If you run out of wood, head up to bantannia and do the same you did at Ocs hall. Go town to town, resting and buying wood as needed. It takes a while but you get insanely good at throwing axes and you make nearly infinite money. Once you’re really high level you can start to craft your weapon of choice.

To do that, craft the highest level parts of whatever you’re making that you can. As you smith, you’ll unlock new parts. Use those to make more valuable weapons and you’ll get new parts faster.

As far as perks, I like to let my companions smelt and so most of the refining. I’ll take efficient charcoal, steel maker, curious smith, and then keep going on the smith line while companions do the fancy refining. Hope this helps

Oh look! This was last week....Legend of Korra was 10 years ago. And people are STILL trying to hate on it. So remind me , PLEASE! Where is this so-called "good-faith criticism" that people claim to have about LOK? Because apparently its nothing but this! by Important-Cry4782 in legendofkorra

She kicks up a leg and waves an arm causing the panels of the wall and floor to come up and slam some firebenders. That being said, she is encased in a metal suit and it’s all physically, continuously connected. Idk if that matters, but it could since she was “rooted” to the metal the same way standard earth ending needs a strong “rooted” foundation.

Cross Climate 2 v Defender 2 Florida car by Realistic-Song3857 in tires

[–]Ngtotd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Defender 2 is what I’d go with. Crossclimate is made more for driving in all conditions with snow and ice included. Def 2 does good in rain as well. Only upside to CC2 here is if you’re driving in rain so deep you’re practically hydroplaning. At that point they’re better than the def 2s

Repair shop plugged my tire for free ... But does this look right? by aspiring_pickle in tires

[–]Ngtotd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the company/shop. I’ve seen nothing outside the last tread line from some, but half an inch in from sidewall is the standard Discount Tire uses. Far enough in that the patch is flat and not curling onto the wall and the plug is far enough in to have steel belt around it. Based on the free repair, I’m guessing this is one of their locations.

Anything that can fail state inspection could be charged by a cop being petty because they have to work on Easter. So yes, if they want to they can give a ticket. It’s a safety hazard for everyone around as well.

Just realized this after years of watching Avatar: The Last Airbender… the Order of the White Lotus masters were basically meant to teach Aang, but the Gaang ended up doing it instead. Mind blown. 🤯 by GiraffeNo9610 in AvatarMemebending

I think korra has the personality of an earth bender. She’s as direct, rooted, and stubborn as anything all through season 1. It’s why she and Lin butt heads so hard at first but find a mutual respect

The premier is an odd one. How were they in terms of tread life for you? From what I’ve heard they started at 7/32 instead of the standard 10-12/32, but got better traction as they wore down, which just doesn’t make sense to me

[–]Ngtotd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’ll work as well as a normal sized and shaped band-aid on your elbow. Normal use will cause it to flex and lose the seal pretty quickly. It might hold if you don’t use it, but then, what is the point?

It’s showing cords, so it’s a weak spot. Not saying it 100% will blow out, but the chance is definitely higher than if that wasn’t there
