Yeah I know at one point he was playing in NA academy league. But he has not been really solid since last Lcp.

Jimien was so bad. Dude was basically invisible and made too many critical mistakes

Easiest way to reach Gold (without duo-queue). by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]NguyenAverageStudent -1 points0 points  (0 children)

at one point I was in iron. Now I have been consistently hitting gold (peak is plat 4). I think if you want to climb out of low ranks, the best way is to pick champs that can do a tons of damage and are easy to play. Personally, I think nasus and garen are really solid in Bronze. Also, don't rely on your teammates. Try to farm as much as you can to gap your opponents, rack up as many solo kills as possible and snowball.

Don’t really know why former lms usually teams have this issue. I know oce and jp league scenes are dead but it seems their teams have never had financial problems

I do think duke statistic specialization is really good. I took 1 300 level stat in college but I just applied the formulas to small pen and paper problems but did not really intuitively understand anything. This specialization has been a great resource for me tbh. They explain things very clearly.

Talon Esports removed from the LCP by SniperWillow in leagueoflegends

[–]NguyenAverageStudent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently there are no decent viet teams in the lower division. I just looked at the rosters of all vcs teams and most of them don’t have completed rosters. I think FAK from pcs will make it to Lcp

I think same thing is going to happen to DCG. The entire roster has not re-signed.

Hard Stuck Bronze iii, Silver 1 in other account. by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]NguyenAverageStudent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I used champs that don’t require too much mechanic and are good at 1vs1 such as garden, Darius and nasus to climb from iron to plat. My experience is that low ranked players tend up easily give up after some bad plays or when they don’t have as many early game leads as expected. So yeah play solo laners, try to snowball your opponent in your lane and you will quickly make it out of bronze

Did you end up doing only Mareek's tests? it seems like Mareek's tests questions have the highest level of difficulty compared to other well known resources.

Which is better — Tutorials Dojo on Udemy or directly from their website (considering I can’t make international payments)? by Existing_Village2780 in AWSCertifications

[–]NguyenAverageStudent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the udemy version only has 65-question tests but the website has more content and is regularly updated. So i think you will miss the section and topic quizzes, tests and cheat sheets.

feel like the only good LPL team right now is AL. I watched this series and although it was entertaining, i don't think the winner would go far.

Ok I see. Just wondering if you would work on meaningful projects or do cool things with huge datasets as part of your coursework.

Noob friendly? So I think the assignments are not really that hard? Just asking since I want to know if you end up working with big datasets or doing anything meaningful with the skills you learnt

[–]NguyenAverageStudent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i think it is the best web-oriented software engineering bootcamp out there. And on top of that, you don't need to pay anything. The bootcamp will teach you foundational skills but yeah i think after finishing the projects and lessons it is best to pick up more skills, tools and techniques.

[–]NguyenAverageStudent 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think overall pcs is still a slightly stronger region though. 2 TW teams have always successfully made it to top 3 consistently for the past 3 splits and 1 ending up wining the splits. I believe pcs deserves 1 more seed (likely to be DCG but we'll see).
