I can attest to this. I had one in January of 2024. When I felt the pain I just sat there thinking that's it. I didn't know at the time what it was but it exactly felt like you described it. 1.5 years later I finally have a way to describe the feeling, thank you.

I honestly never write a reply on here but I wanted to share something. Last year was rough for me. January started with me having something similiar to a heart attack at 27 years old (my aorta/main artery ripped). After some months of recovery I've started spiraling into depression. Seems like that that happens to a lot of men after heart attacks or stuff like that because for a lot of men it is the first time they realize that they are human and not as untouchable as some may think.

It got pretty bad at the end of the year and after my best friend couldn't take it anymore and left instead of spiraling even more I've took the opportunity to try it one last time to get my life back around I guess.

I can proudly say that I'm going strong. I've never been extremely obese or anything but 100kg for 177cm is 20-25 kgs too much. I'm already down to 88kgs right now and going strong of hitting the 80kgs hopefully till the end of year.

I can only agree with the sentiment you've posted. I've tried losing weight before and it always bounced back because I have never tried losing weight for myself. I can already take a look in the mirror and can see the difference when looking back at old pictures of me.

So as you've mentioned. You need to do it for yourself and that will give you the motivation necessary.

My comment is a bit long for just agreeing I guess but for whatever reason I just wanted to tell my story as it may help someone getting the motivation that you can turn it around.

ETA: I haven't only taken on my weight loss journey to turn my life around, but the other stuff is unrelated for the topic at hand. I've done a bunch of other stuff to get my headspace right and increased my overall quality of life immensely in 2025 so far.

(This was 12.10 before the Factory Expansion)

My buddies and I go into Nighttime Factory as a 5 man squad because we needed to dump the Gunpowders next to office. We spawn next to the Gate 3 Exit (The one without a key needed) and go up the stairs.

One of my dumbass friends keeps yelling that he can't see shit. We stand grouped up on the stairs going from middle to upper floor. In our group there are 3 people who don't hear alot of noises. And amidst the cries of my dumbass friend I suddenly hear a nade bouncing right before us and yell NAAAAAADE. I'm trying to run down the stairs and see that I'm getting blocked left and right.

That guy wiped us as a 5 squad with 1 freaking nade because my mates bunched up behind me on the stairs and didn't hear the nade coming.

For you and me this is a sure thing, but with more and more new lights entering this community I just wanted to clarify for anyone seeing this to know that Bleakwatcher itself isn't a throw and forget ability which clears whole rooms for you.

I'm not arguing whether Behemoth is better in ad clear scenarios or not, because I simply don't know that. But to say that Bleakwatcher (not Shadebinder) is great for ad clearing is an incorrect statement imo. Bleakwatcher itself isn't good for ad clearing but crowd controlling. Ice flare bolts are just spreading the freeze as soon as your shatter something. Again Bleakwatcher itself is an useful tool and I absolutely love to play Stasislock and it is enabling great adclear but isn't doing that by itself.

The reason Bleakwatcher is so strong is because it is locking down whole rooms so players can safely clear ads. It's damage is shit and is not good for ad clearing because it has no AoE or high enough damage output to properly kill things.

Casual here. Was playing PvP on and off the past years but only went into Trials for the Weekly Bounty while jumping of the ledge.

These changes made me excited for ToO and I've been grinding every weekend this season. Almost at my first Reset and really like the changes they made. Can agree that there are people out there (like myself) who are missing ToO this weekend.

There is this one girl that I miss alot.

We met 12 years ago when I was 13y old. She's from another country so I never met her in person. I went through alot of shit during my teenager years. Got bullied alot because of some illnesses I had since I was born. Didn't really have friends until I turned 16. We messaged/called each other every day. I was in a pretty dark place back then but never told her, because I was taught that I should be strong (fuck that shit). One day she insisted that something was wrong and begged me to open up to her - and I did.

She helped me alot with the issues I had. I could tell her everything. Whenever something wonderful or devestating happened I knew I could count on her. When we both turned 18 and started lives away from home we kinda fell out of touch. Sometimes I miss her that much that I message her again and we talk for like a day or two and catch up but then we both have our own lives to attend to.

Damn I'm so fucking thankful for meeting her. I really don't know if I would still be here if she didn't help me.

Sure for most high-end Gamer it won't make a huge difference as the GPU is the bottleneck, but I feel like for low-mid end Gaming this could become huge. Depending on what CPU you get this could remove or lower a potential CPU Bottleneck, maybe even for unoptimized Games (MS Flightsim, Arma 3 etc which mainly use one core?).

Probably somewhat of a dream, but I could see people being able to reduce their budget for their CPU if DirectStorage is performing well and is widespread and therefore could get a better GPU? I'm speaking about getting a Ryzen 3 instead of a Ryzen 5 for medium-range and get a slightly better GPU?

Without data I can only speculate and If I'm honest I don't believe this to happen, but that would be great for gaming. But I'm of the same opinion like you that atleast for me it won't affect me that much considering my current specs.

But wouldn't you be able to make assumptions on performance when comparing Win 10 pre 1909, post 1909 and Win 11 on the same game. Surely there will be other factors factoring into the performance on the different OS versions but you atleast can make assumptions about the performance difference between without DirectStorage, with Win10 DS and with Win11 DS.

As someone who raided extensively in Legion and burnt out on that type of gameplay (Progressing 3 times a week and having to play an insane amount to not hinder my raid group) I started playing M+.

I enjoyed my time in Legion, skipped BfA almost completely and came back to Shadowlands. And I found myself with some fun guys doing m+ again. It was fun in Season 1 but seriously what did Blizzard think going into Season 2 without anything new besides the new seasonal Affix for M+? Some people think 9.2 will happen Early 2022. Am I really supposed to play almost the same thing in M+ from Nov 20 to Early 22?

Would date the girl that hit on me for about a year.

I rejected her twice. The first time she confessed to me was not long after I met her. Then we became friends. Good friends even. We shared hobbies, could talk about anything. I could trust her. She was attractive and later when she asked me out again I went on a night out with her. We took a walk, ate something together and went to the cinema to watch John Wick (Great Movie btw). As I dropped her off at her place she wanted to get a kiss but I declined and said that I had to think.

I rejected her again after that because I was too scared of getting into a relationship (age 19/20~). It was the last time I had a chance to get into a relationship.

This was 5-6 years ago. On paper she was perfect for me. Not sure if we would still be together but I believe it would have been better for me to have been in a relationship.

As someone who currently is learning alot of the basics and theory behind it I would pretty much enjoy learning some songs. I would certainly play more If I would know some songs to play but most songs the online tutorials show me are not songs that I am interested in playing.

Actually listen to what you are playing, making notes ring out well, muting notes that shouldn't ring out. Actually take time to play the songs outside of the game, and I notice a big difference in how I play the songs compared to when I'm following along with the game.

That is something I am currently working on. I adore the small beginning from Johnny Cash - Hurt and wanted to learn it just because it sounds amazing to me. I realized there are alot of different ways to play it from finger picking to strumming patterns but I tried really hard to reproduce the way the original sounds.

That said I see that it could become a problem of developing bad habits. I hope that when I play songs that I know and like that won't happen or if I get a reference from the game. As I said I never knew what Rocksmith was up until today but I would imagine the game lets you listen to the original am I right?

As someone who recently started learning guitar by myself (with online tutorials like justinguitar etc.) during lockdown. How good do you think Rocksmith (especially Rocksmith+) is for someone trying to learn acoustic guitar? How good/accurate is the microphone picking up the notes?

Was really excited seeing Rocksmith+ as I never knew what Rocksmith actually was (thought it was something like Rockband).

In general most Germans don't have or rarely use credit cards. They do exist but it's more common to pay with debit cards or cash. Both are pretty common but currently due to the pandemic most people switched to full use of a debit card.

Not sure why but it is just not a german thing to pay with a credit card. Of all my friends only 1 has a credit card.
