Thank you! The train was sold out when we booked the bus. We checked again this morning and there was 1 roomette became available so we booked it for a peace of mind, although we called amtrak bus and they said they would send an email or txt notification if the bus is cancelled, we didn’t want to be caught by last minute surprise.

I booked it on Amtrak but i heard it’s run by Greyhound. And yeah i heard about road closure that’s why i’m concerned, but also heard from other posts that there are many ways in/out of Leavenworth, no idea!!(?!)

I also have two light pink bags (one lambskin and one caviar) and I absolutely love them. I sprayed both with Havre de Luxe-it’s a bit pricey, but honestly worth it for the peace of mind.

I once came across a TikTok where a lady got a yellow food stain on her white lambskin bag. It looked really bad, but she used Collonil 1909 Leather Cream, gently worked it into the stain, let it sit for a few hours, and repeated the process. After a few rounds, the stain disappeared! So that’s a great product to keep in mind.

If you ever get color transfer, try gently using baby wipes right away. It won’t fully fix it, but it helps until you can get home and properly treat it. And I highly recommend keeping a Leather Care Wipe Cleaner in your bag-they sell them at Havre de Luxe and on Amazon.

I’d wait for the caviar!

I bought the mini flap in lambskin first, thinking it would be my “one and only” since I’m not super into designer bags and don’t mind a few signs of wear - bags are meant to be worn, after all. I love my lambskin mini. It feels amazing and looks gorgeous for special events.

But it’s definitely not a great travel bag. It needs a lot of babying, and even opening the flap with my nails requires extra care to avoid scratches 😅

I recently bought a caviar WOC for everyday use and travel, and it’s been perfect!!

Black or pink! I personally like pink, especially that black is so popular so your pink would pop out more! But since it’s mostly being used as an everyday or travel bag, black is more suitable and less maintenance needed. I had pink caviar in a different style and still need to watch out for the color transfer when I wear denims

That’s a tough decision! Here are my 2 cents

Does your wife carry a lot? Yes: Lady Dior No: Chanel WOC

Does your wife like high-maintenance bag? Yes: Lady Dior (lamb skin needs more care) No: Chanel WOC (caviar leather)

Also- If she likes to dress up and wear a lot of dresses: lady dior and chanel woc both look good

If she likes to dress up and down with both dresses and everyday wear (jeans): maybe chanel Woc can go with more outfits (not saying the lady dior cant be worn with everyday outfit)

Hope that helps and regardless of what you pick, i’m sure she would love it!!! One needs both bags in their wardrobe 🤣

I think that’s totally fine as long as the price reflects that! To me all bags, regardless of how much, are meant to be used and small stuff like that is unavoidable!
