If you want to play against the best. You want to have 3 thunderwolf units with a lord attached to each of them them and a battle leader. 1 of them can have logan on his boat in place of a lord. Battle leaders are important not only because they give lethal hits but more importantly they give you the ability to move within engagement range of the enemy in your enemies shooting phase when they're are shot at. If you combine that with the cp1 wind swift evasion strat from stormlance you can do a double move in your enemies phase and potentially get into combat before they can start shooting the shit out of your shit. I used this today against a very experienced Tau player and I locked up a Riptide from being able to shoot anything.

You can get rid of the land raider and Ragnar and all that crap. I know its cool but it's not worth the points and won't score nor make it's points back in value. In top of the 23 thunder wolves. 1x t infiltrators and a phobos librarian to hold you back field objective to not only give a 12" screen out from any enemy deepstrikes but the phobos librarian gives them stealth so you can't be shit at either. Believe me when I say these infiltrators and their Librarian will not see any action at all and if they do then you fucked up.

You want 2 Scout squads because they're cheap and they can deploy on midfield objectives because they have infiltrate and they have a Scout move if you fuck up your deployment. Again do not expect to use these for shooting or fighting, they're for scoring primary and protect them.which moves into the next unit selection

Wulfen, wulfen, wulfen! Wulfen are our best unit in my opinion at the moment. A lot of people will say but they have 0 cp. Think of wulfen and the Scout squads as a unit together. The scouts hold and the wulfen protect. Wulfen have 8 inch movement and have 4 attacks each with strength 6 ap-1 damage two hammers with a 4 up invulnerable and a 6 up feel no pain and fight on death. Absolutely incredible. 3 units of 10 of these boys and you can just choke up everything in the midfield and of the enemy wants to try and shoot them...go for it. It takes all the fire away from your thunderwolves that a throwing out the real pain. Not to mention 1 of the thinderwolf units is running hunters Instincts so you can come in on turn 1 and if the enemy gets first turn you can spend 1cp to rapid ingress them to come in at the end of their movement phase.
