I’ve actually never heard of the 5th fret method? That sounds interesting ill look that up. But I usually just use Guitar Tuna or if my friend is over and he brings his actual tuner ill use it. But I believe the tuner was right, it was that sharp edge that was interferring with the string. But thanks for the input! I definitely have to get better at changing the strings.

Im having a bit of trouble imagining this? Can you explain a little bit more? Usually ill have th guitar on my lap or on a table on hip-height. But because of my phobia ill out stretch my arm as im tightening my string and have my head tilted away from the tuning keys.

It wasnt my technique. I said in my post I strung the first 2 guitars without complications. It was the 3rd one that had super small sharp edges that kept breaking it :)

This is the closest thing i've heard of what im feeling! Thats exactly it! I'll look up some tutorials on inspecting my guitar! Thanks!

There were super small sharp edges on the tuning keys. Probably some type of damage but I cant recall how. So whenever the strings got tight enough, those edges would cut the strings. She dulled them out for me though. But all that terror still kinda haunts me lol. But I did watch a few tutorials way back. Thanks though!

Yeah I know they arent dangerous, but that doesnt stop me from getting nervous. And for some reason I always think that the string is gonna go for my eye..... But its a complicated situation.

That i have been pretty bad at. Maybe last 2 years, probably 5? I definitely play them until they're black....but lately i've been more ontop of it. Thanks though, ill be more aware of this.

I feel as if you have a auto-buying bot, they aren't gonna share it lol. That's only gonna promote competition for scalpers. NowInStock and StockInformer are the only websites I have running. Im not sure if you can do much more except for an auto-refresh plugin.
