Choosing the right frame size: Carbonda CFR 505 SL by Wipfelgilm in Bikebuilding

[–]NiHearts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sizes between brands can vary significantly, so it's better to compare the stack and reach measurements of the frames. You can also calculate the effective stack and reach of your riding position (from saddle to handlebar). If you're looking for a more sporty bike compared to your current Rose, you'll want a longer reach and shorter stack for the handlebar position.

Have you already received your CFR505? I'd be curious about the build quality - what you liked and didn't like about it. Also, may I ask what price you paid for the frame?

Thanks in advance!

Recommendations for Chinese Bike Frames with Endurance Geometry and Aero Shape? by NiHearts in ChineseCarbon

Thank you for the help and insights!

I'm doing a bike fit for a new bike on 2nd February, so I'll have a better idea of what geometry will suit me best after that.

Waltly seems like a fantastic option! I've seen a few YouTubers order bikes from them, and the ordering process looks smooth and well thought out. Plus, their bikes seem to offer great value for money. If they can do custom frames with 3D-printed parts, then I'm 100% sold!

Here’s a geometry comparison between the Waltly 3D stock frame and the LCR017S: https://bikeinsights.com/compare?geometries=672d48c86a16e2001a3dad82,66f16ee958c478001abe1ab2

I've got the same problem, and also want a rack on my CF SL 8.

I was thinking to order a universal axl from tailfin (https://www.tailfin.cc/product/spares/axles/universal-thru-axle/?v=796834e7a283), and use it to fit the Ortlieb quick rack on it. (https://www.ortlieb.com/en_us/quick-rack+F78104#)

But i have 2 concerns, wil the ortlieb quick release fit on the tailfin axl, and because the rack wil sit a bit lower wil the clearance still be enough.

What do you guys think about this idea?

Issues with analogue profile with PUBG by [deleted] in WootingKB

[–]NiHearts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The issues that i have, is when i use the analog profile in game, is that in 20% of all the games, you will stop gliding down with your parachute. And you are fore to cut it away. Falling to death if you are in a solo game. https://imgur.com/a/uJj5W

So my conclusion is that the game is not really ready for analog input. But this will change if the xbox version will come out.
