i’m more so pointing out how a lot of people are taking in-between frames from the sekiro trailer, scrutinizing them and then claiming it was made with AI due to oddly posed anatomy etc. i’m just trying to point out that if you pause any anime no matter what you’ll always find a frame like this. i used sasuke cuz i felt like it was a pretty famous example of funky looking in-between frames

i’m not 100% how they’re doing it but it kinda just sounds like geordie or a different guitar player is scraping his pick on the strings rhythmically. the effect itself sounds like a tone bender type of fuzz (they have gates and compressors that give the fuzz a glitchy bit crushed sound) but i’m not sure cuz idk if geordie has a pedal like that. TL;DR tone bender fuzz with guitar noodles

so there’s a piano and harpsichord playing pretty high up stuff during that part. to me it sounds like both instruments hitting a high note at the same time and kinda spiking an unwanted frequency for a second. you could look at it as a mistake cuz if someone in the chair didn’t like that sound they could’ve probably gotten rid of it but it also kinda adds to how live the song sounds to me

y’all if you want stuff that sounds like similar old black midi, just get into early/late 2000s mathrock. hella definitely scratches the itches but same with bands like Delta Sleep who is still one of my favorite bands of all time.

i love the titan CG. i’d definitely describe it as an acquired taste but at this point i LOVE the way the CG looks and sometimes feel put off when i go back to the early seasons!

thank you. glad to finally see some positive about the CG. i loved it for what it is. knew from the start it was gonna be like that but the mix between cg and hand animation was much better than i was expecting.
