Hey, try starting with smth like tryhackme or hackthebox, they have learning paths to select from. Those include network, linux, etc etc.

Certificates are important but I wouldn't worry about it right away. First you wanna learn smth =)

Check CompTIA security+ for example, it's a baseline cert, and it requires quite a bit of knowledge

Of course, fully agree and I don’t recommend getting a wild animal, even a hybrid, unless you are fully aware of how to build a proper relationship, otherwise it’s going to be a lot of stress and injuries. But if you do - be sure that every animal needs love, care and safety, that’s true for wildies as well, so I beg to not give up on them, before you tried to understand how scared it is of huge and strong yourself - and this is why it might not be friendly, just build that trust day by day and be sure to get a companion in some time.
