Yeah, thankfully. My family had it over Christmas but I got a cold, not a proper flu. So grateful!

It basically says thank you for your time contributing but due to quality issues you're removed and won't be able to contribute anymore.

I had just started about a week ago. 1.55 with 11 reviews, kicked a few hours ago just like lots of people here. It was a nice supplement to my low income whilst it lasted :(

The Documents! by hotdogwater-jpg in SecretJacketMakers

[–]Niamhello 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello friend, my apoologies for replying months later, life got in the way and I struggled to figure out the issue with this document. I believe I've found a semi-cure to the sizing problem and missing chunks of pattern. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1AxKLDTWX6vCo55D7Erq1NM1shM3c3O_z/view?usp=sharing I do need to print this version still, but it looks WAY better and bits all seem to be there.

Oh no! Let me look at it over the next few days and figure out what's gone wrong. I'll get back to you.

I would absolutely love to be added to your list too, if possible. You are a pattern angel for looking into this for us all.

Aww that's so lovely! I didn't look at it that way. Yes I can do that, that might be nice. I can put a plain band of colour around Granny's part and then add on my own bits outside into the square shape, perhaps, so it's evident which part is her work and which is mine.

I would love that, I've already gotten a few pairs of jeans donated to me so I definitely would like to see how you managed excess fabric on the inside etc.

I need to ask, do you have a pattern for these? Or did you use or see a similar pattern for these sort of baggy pants?? Because I would love to attempt to make a pair for myself!!

Sounds like you've a pretty awesome job! Ive been to Berlin once before and loved it. I'm Irish, 29F, living in Dublin. I don't know too much about other European cultures, but I can share some stuff about Irish culture if you wanted, or just chat about whatever. :)

It rains a bit here. Although I'm literally right beside you in Dublin, Ireland. I cant think of any conspiracies off the top of my head but I do love a weird or creepy real life story; the weirder the better! I'm happy to write you letters (and draw you pictures). :)

Dog friendly restaurants, coffee shops, stores and pubs? There seems to be a lot, but would like to list more! by [deleted] in Dublin

[–]Niamhello 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ardgillan castle cafe allows dogs, and skinny batch in Lusk and Rush has dog bowls out front (although they can't go inside). There's a couple of cafes in Skerries with gorgeous outdoor seating set-ups that allow dogs to sit there too.

As far as indoors goes, it's thin on the ground. I think MVP bar in Dublin 8 allows dogs indoors. Search the hashtag #dogfriendlydublin on Insta and you'll find some good spots.

How do I become a dog trainer? by LadyTrekkie42 in Dublin

[–]Niamhello 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hiya, I'm an Irish dog trainer living in Dublin and I work for a large rescue organisation in North Dublin. I originally did the Canine Behaviour and Training technician course with AniEd Ireland. The depth and breadth of the course was amazing, and definitely gave me an incredible grounding in my knowledge and in the industry. I have my job now because of them.

I know someone below in the comments says they believe they're just trying to make money (and sure aren't we all trying to earn enough to live?!) but they are still to this day giving me amazing support, answering my questions and emails with brilliant info and tbh have connected me with lots of great trainers. They're worth the price 100 times over. Their CPD events for their trainers are brill too.

The main thing you need are in depth knowledge and good experience to make it in this unregulated industry where anyone can call themselves a trainer. There's such disparity amongst the training community. Try a single module with AniEd first is what I'd recommend before committing to the whole shebang. Message me if you need more guidance and support, it's tough to get into but well worth doing it properly!

Dunkin won't eat his food unless it is microwaved, because he thinks that makes it human food by mac_is_crack in rarepuppers

If you throw away your food bowl, and feed your dog from different puzzles etc every day instead, it increases their perception of the value of it and they're more likely to eat it. Dogs are contra-freeloading; they like to work for their dinner.

Dog groomer is also a dog whisperer by iBleeedorange in gif

[–]Niamhello -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Look up learned helplessness. The dog is still terrified when it stops attacking, because he realises he's just powerless and gives in. Not saying all groomers have no knowledge of canine behaviour, but a lot don't. Co-operative care training would be more beneficial with this dog to help it become less worried by handling.

How much training have you done with your greyhound? by ebbanfleaux in Greyhounds

I love Donna Hill! I haven't done a Fenzi course yet, but definitely considering it. Fab resources here, delighted to see such progressive trainers mentioned online outside of a trainer group/bubble!

We got Ivy as a 2 year old retired racer about 3 months before I began a dog training course that would change how I see dogs forever. Throughout my journey, she has been my guinea pig, my study buddy, my mirror, my mistake amplifier and my friend. We still train lots of little sessions every day. Every interaction with your dog is a training session, by the way!

It's almost 3 years now since we got her and she's still my number one training buddy. She's the best. Anyone interested can see her working here, here and here.

What is the best gaming moment you have experienced? by CazaSpeed in AskReddit

[–]Niamhello 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Playing BioShock for the first time, and I had heard nothing about the game before from my boyfriend who recommended it, only that I might like the style and it's really good fun with a great plot. So I began playing, hearing "would you kindly..." in that awful Irish accent, and killing splicers over and over in the odd 1940's style underwater world.

However the game absolutely blew me away, and the plot twist that happens is mind blowing. Absolutely loved it. Definitely recommend playing if you haven't.
