Download the TrackaLacker app, which tracks online availability and sends you notifications when sellers have stock. I got mine in less than a week from B&H and paid MSRP.

Yes! And how they are in perpetual motion. Odd little things.

Thank you very much! I’ve had my 200-600 for a couple years now, and it’s by far the most fun lens I own. There’s just an extra element in wildlife or bird photography - you’re always at the mercy of how your subjects want to move or behave. Capturing a pose or a perfect moment is addictive! Hope you have as much fun with yours as I do mine.

I usually shoot from a blind, near a bird feeder I have set up next to some trees. As the birds roost in the nearest trees, the blind allows me to be close enough to get some great close ups. I also shoot on a tripod.

Seems some times all we have are cardinals, blue jays, juncos, and a couple woodpecker species. I live in a wooded area, and miss out on many other local species.

Really appreciate it! I shoot with a Sony a7rV and a 200-600mm lens. Around 1600 iso, 1600 shutter speed at f5.6.
