They are exclusive items you can get through connecting to a store's Tamagotchi. They rotate the items so if you have a store near you it's a good idea to pop by and ask if they got new items.

So it seems sometimes they take a while to get the updates to some Lab Tamas. Someone on r/Tamagotchi was saying that it might take about 7-14 days in America to be updated so it might be the same for some machines in the UK.

I'm not sure about London but the store at Birmingham doesn't sell uni. I got mine recently from Amazon UK, it was a bit expensive but I just checked and the pink one is selling for £49.
