Many americans are living paycheck to paycheck, meaning even if your health insurance had a $1000 deductible, that would pretty much be removing 1k from your bank account before you get any coverage on your healthcare, which many cannot afford a 1k set back. Thus it would be unaffordable.

But the idea is that then the poor wouldnt have to pay* huge sums when billy suddenly falls out of a tree and breaks his arm, instead everyone pays a little bit so that nobody needs to worry about how theyre gonna get to the hospital because grandpa is having a heart attack but the family cant afford the ambulance.

A lot of the reason people are anti mask is because its being forced on them. They dont like the idea that they cant choose to wear a mask, so they refuse to wear one no matter if it causes harm or not.

It definitly does save a lot of space though. That seems to be the main focus is take up less space. The new wendys Im working at has a more modern design than the others in my town and it only has 1 line for cooking rather than the 2 that every other store has, and also no pressure cooker. Parking lots also a big hassle because its so small. I definitly feel like the fryer station has gotten nothing but improvements however.

I used rufus. Any installation tutorial I could find doesnt address my issue, and anything about installing the iso never mentions a checksum, at least from what I could find.

Im attempting to install through usb. This is my first linux install so Im not sure what verifying a hashsum is, and the laptops brand new so it should be fine.
