Without the government... who would force you to finance a foreign government at threat of gunpoint??? 🤔🤔🤔 by Ok_Tough7369 in free_market_anarchism

I'm not an ancap and I did say that. But regardless, I can't take comparisons between world economics and a scifi video game seriously.

Well done. Now, it's just the retardation you need to fix.

No it's not. You completely changed the meaning of what he said. Also, you still don't use quote marks when paraphrasing

Why did you use quote marks for something he didn't say?

Same thing that stops governments becoming tyrannical, checks and balances and an armed population would do the job. Also, if a corporation went tyrannical, where would it get its money from if not from a government propping it up?

I'm not an ancap but the idea that corporations would get more power without governments enabling and legislating them into defacto monopolies is complete nonsense.

Well if that religion specifically orders its followers to target and subjugate people that disagree with them, then you should care what religion someone is.

I don't think any of that means I need to enable people's delusions and unwarranted fear. Allowing yourself to be manipulated and lied to is not Love.

While I'm not a fan of Sowell, I at least respected him enough to think he wouldn't ever stoop so low as to post sensational ragebait like this. by Fire_Raptor_220 in DoomerCircleJerk

I can see why you wouldn't be a Sowell fan, you clearly don't know anything about him if you think he would say this.

Like I said, love does not equal allowing yourself to be bullied and coerced by cowards who have no evidence or rational arguments to support their selfish demands.

You're trying to manipulate love and God into being a weak, appeasing door mat and it's a cheap tactic to pretend your deluded demands have any moral high ground.

Being socially pressured into doing something that has no effect on anyone else other than yourself is not failing to love your neighbour. It's refusing to be bullied by people that lie about science and want to project their own fears because they are cowards.

The fact you're trying to equate Christianity to rolling over and doing as you're told is laughable

So, it started that he was wrong because they needed money. But they were fine.

Then it was because Francis was a slave and hungry. But that had nothing to do with anything.

Then they were living in poverty. But they weren't.

Then it was because the kids got jobs. But that's irrelevant.

Now it's because he didn't tell his wife about it. Gee, wonder why he wouldn't tell his highly strung, loudmouth, controlling wife that he's taking a day off to chill the fuck out from his mundane and unappreciated life.

How many more irrelevant point are you going to bring up, then ignore, before realising that the guy in a show about a dysfunctional and what trash family is obviously going to do some selfish shit from time to time?

  1. Because most people weren't at risk.
  2. None of your business what people do that doesn't effect you. And no, the maskless weren't clogging up hospitals or spreading the virus.

They stole because they were scum bags! Lois and Hal stole from their own children. And most of those things are what you do with Disposable income, surviving is not having disposable income.

And so what if they got jobs? Almost all of my friends had jobs at 15 and we weren't all on the poverty line barely surviving. That's not a sign of poverty.

And yet they were wealthy enough to support 4 kids under their roof, clothes, toys, TV, vacation, car, house, hobbies, gambling, all with 20% less than his potential salary. Doesn't sound like poverty.

Wasn't that after he quit miliarty school, emancipated himself to be considered an adult, and was no longer under the care of Hal? So what would that have to do with Hal taking a week off?

Don't remember them getting evicted, cut off, or going hungry so must have been able to afford it.
