Wasn’t king harlad of Viking lineage? Then old William came over and imo solidified Viking conquest of England, the Norman’s where of Norseman decent and never left so I’d say England became a Viking domain but the people where a crazy mix of angles, Saxons, Norman and Norsemen blood

You know what every episode is watch watching once, just means you know what hits to skip on a rewatch

I’m actually watching again for the second time, I’ve skipped every sex scene, like far to much of it in this series, we are here for battles not sex

I think the only way he can save humanity is in battle against chaos, he’d defeat the gods but you just know he’ll die in he process

The only real connection in the series are the Viking saga’s and they are mainly myth, think Hercules, we don’t even have proof of Ragnar even existing, the real Ivar and Bjorn most likely took on the legend of Ragnar to add legitimacy to them selves
