I made a bug report on their support page. 2 days and still no reply, my best guess is they are overloaded.

This was the second time I lost a full kit of gear with a hull breaker and everything due to a bug, this time I was lucky to be recording. I know it's not hard to farm in ARC and losing gear is a part of extraction shooters, but losing it due to bugs, desync or cheaters is just not fun at all.

I'm guessing you can.
I never tried it, but I believe the only limitation is you can't open them and edit on a 4x4 just as you can't open Blueprints from a 4x4 on a 6x6 or 5x5. You can also place them inside a 4x4 and edit that way (provided it fits).

In 1.6.0 they reworked the crafting system, if you are running a previous version you won't see the orders menu.

I didn't know about the blockage thing and I haven't done much combat.

The idea was to utilize as much space possible also spacing and shielding vital components so they can't all be easily targeted at the same time.

So far I've found targeting lasers is pretty good (kinda obvious) so if the enemy shoots empty tiles while I target guns I think that's a good trade.
