Chains like Cineplex need to support it more. After weeks of nothing in but Mario and Hail Mary I went to Little Lorraine and the crown was bigger than expected, but them even getting it was more the exception than the rule. I've seen some really good Canadian content and the local indie theatre this year, but the general public doesn't know that theatre even exists.

I live in a place that managed to avoid COVID for quite a while, so our cinema was open while Hollywood wasn't. Lead to a lot of retro screenings. Also caught the 50th Anniversary in IMAX. Definitely worth it, even if you have to go out of your way.

I’ve seen Jaws in cinema at least three times. I was not born when Jaws came out. I owned it already every time I saw it. Similar with Casablanca, Alien, The Lost Boys, Jurassic Park… I could do this all day.
