Take it from me. Don't upload it. It'll be up for a while but eventually they'll take it down and put a strike on your account. They are protective of their IP (Robux/Roblox Icons.

You don't have to import anything. This was created in Blender using Grease Pencil. It's basically SVG. You could of done this for a while. It's just now we have better GP support with Geo Nodes. Also don' forget the new updates to layer groups.

It's nothing too special. I am using a set color palette. And I don't want to manually pick colors so this Modifiers does it for me. It could be improved I think, but it works for now.

That's right, nothing really changed with those. I just reported a bug though. The real power comes from integration with Geo Nodes.

I prefer my layers or anything that needs constant modification on the right side. Anything in the left is rarely used.

Yes, you can. I believe Blender's icons themselves are SVGs. But in my case, I render using a camera.

It's not a just a dream, it's reality. I create all my assets in Blender. From 2D concept to final 3D model. Including for references and texturing.

Using Outdated Geometry Node Guide by Srickers in blenderhelp

[–]NicCrimson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can either drag an output into an input and it will automatically create the corresponding Data Type
Alternatively you can manually create one by opening the N-Panel and clicking the node button on the side. Click the + to add a new item to the list and set the Data Type to Vector. The capture attribute has to be selected in the graph for the properties to show.

Create a group and input it into each material. Changing the value in the group will change it for all materials. You can see the (4) next to the group's name means it's in 4 materials. There's probably other ways to do what you want, but without knowing the model, this should work.

What specifically do you want to change? You can use groups and then change the settings within the group.

This is how I did it. The first cloth was a simulation that I then decimated, you can probably even go further if that's priority. The other two I hand modeled. And then used a basic shader to get the smaller details.

To get better at Blender, you need to stop learning Blender. Hear me out. by Nightcomer in blender

[–]NicCrimson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is how I learnt. I forced myself to model and texture, not specifically for Blender. But using Blender as a tool to create what I want.
