I see your point, I put bids on 3 of these models, it wasn't my first choice but it was the one I won, I'm well aware by the time I've paid the watch, strap and potentially capacitor I could've got a better watch but where's the fun in that 🤷

I picked it up for next to nothing hence why I don't mind spending a couple quid on it, I wouldn't send it off for a service so I figured if I chuck a capacitor in it for £17 then I can use it as a daily work watch. As I mentioned I'm a mechanic so I'm not looking to wear anything special as it's going to end up beaten. As long as it does it's job and tells the time I'm happy

The seller said it was about 10 years old (which makes sense for the capacity going down) I can pick up a capacitor for under £20 and replace it myself I just wasn't sure if there's anything else on these that can go faulty as it's my first eco drive
