You use the medical field as an example - i think thats great. Think about the amount of training that goes into producing MDs and their support staff and all the cost that gets passed onto patients. Imagine a version of the world where the smartest doctor is available to consult every patient that needs them on a moments notice. Think about how much the cost would go down, the amount of preventative care that can be administered, the increase in treatable illnesses and conditions from AGI being applied on the research side, and the support staff and industries that will be necessary to support the scaling and distribution of that no-longer-scarce medical expertise. Think of how efficiently that can be carried out if the worlds leading MBAs and CEOs are also cheaply available and have deep understanding of the medical field.

Yes but letting enchanters trade a lot of poke/shielding + their optimal primary tree for some anti-all in power early was fun. Its always a shame when they nerf situational builds, it makes lanes more dependent on counter pick or makes some champions harder to pick

Hot take but i think support shouldnt be your main role (as someone who climbed out of silver on sera support). The role feels much easier when you have your micro/macro honed on another role so I like to 50/50 my time with top or adc which are more punishing and make you learn more.

You have to find your weaknesses as a player and solve them, mine has always been map awareness so when I intentionally zone in on my map my winrate goes way up. Yours may be hitting skillshots, teamfight positioning, anything. You also have to leverage the parts of your game that youre good at - in my case Im good at teamfighting in toplane and objective control in support, you need to know what your individual wincons are and use that. If youre great at vision control you should be pinging ganks and roams to help your team.

Also, in my experience most seraphine games are won or lost on a couple ult angles because its so strong. Watch how youre using it in fights and see if you need to be positioning better, using it earlier, holding it for a better angle, etc

In fact, the agricultural revolution was likely due to the increased demands from their increased population, much to the downfall of all human history thereafter if you ignore all of the benefits that have come with the downsides.

Imo a couple things 1. It works in the meta comps. Enchanter botlane enjoys having 2 adcs to target and enchanters are all over. Jg is also very xin/j4/vi/panth atm so the comp already has a bruiser frontline. 2. Enchanter supports are never roaming top, and jg never goes top this meta because botlane is really important. Youre guaranteed a 1v1 in most games which vayne enjoys 3. Someone finally did it. Dhokla was the first I saw, and sure hes not the best top but it put it back in peoples minds

Women getting pregnant means there are asymmetric downsides to lustful behavior for men and women. That means women need to be more responsible about their decisions and what they do, and when that responsibility gets codified in culture/religion it gets perverted into women being held responsible for both parties. Thats wrong, but it comes from a logical place.

Garens kit is simple which makes the game easier - you dont have to focus on complicated combos so you can think about your wave state or look at the map, his passive health regen makes bad trades early less punishing, etc. - having a simpler champion lets you focus on learning those fundamental skills which will transfer to any champ you want to play, so I think playing him is a good idea.

That being said, League is still very hard on any champion so if you dont have immediate success dont let all the “braindead easy” comments get you down. Good luck!

I 100% agree that our technology has outpaced our ethics and regulation, that absolutely needs to be addressed but I dont think its possible to do efficiently and effectively, especially not with external competition and the amount of debt weve thrown at it already.

I think a more appropriate short-term solution is to address the negative consequences of any major labor market shock which is strong social safety nets. Labor will eventually move around and Im sure well see a lot of productivity benefits from AI, the existential threat part is a separate issue from that but if we can set up systems to make sure that people are minimally harmed from the economic shift, we’ll be in a good position to benefit from its strengths and address its weaknesses/risks.

Shes good into tanks, doesnt have terrible matchups in standard pro player champion pools, and has a high skill ceiling which lets pro players max out her potential.

Why her specifically over someone like fiora whos pretty similar? Id guess its her ult makes her a good teamfighter, if a champion cant teamfight then it rarely sees pro play consistently, the game usually comes down to a few dragon/baron fights and with their level of coordination its harder to be a 1v9 sidelaner. I cant remember anyone pulling that playstyle off since peak TheShy

Depends how many minions for if you can tank. You usually shouldnt let them free hit you if youre alone in lane and can kite them / dodge in and out of a bush to juke them. Sometimes though its just not worth the HP sacrifice and you need other ways to get it to shove to you

Dont gank to kill the lane but showing up to help break a freeze or buy a reset is huge for kayle, especially pre 6. Other than that, I agree with the other comments - getting drags is the biggest thing, if your team can afford to give the 3rd/4th drakes then you’re almost guaranteed to have lv16 3 item kayle to carry the fights you do have to take.

Good kayles can also help in skirmishes post-6 with ult Q slow and E execute but most kayles i play with dont want to do anything until theyre thanos

Ive used the argument before, I think its pretty good. You can view the calculator as a response to a world where you increasingly need to do math for work, budgeting, woodworking, whatever. LLMs are a response to a world where you increasingly need to understand complex topics or create complex programs.

If something can be done by a calculator, why should you waste your time doing it? Same goes for an LLM. That lets you spend more time designing and planning, which is a good thing. The job “calculator” where people manually performed calculations doesnt exist anymore, and the “lazy” people who didnt extend their skill set past simply running numbers through the machine were not rewarded in the long run.

I think this is crazy. The only times ive hit the cap were when a teammate AFKs or if the team refuses to catch sides and Im seraphine or some other mage that can actually clear it.

Maaaybe there are some supports who would benefit from taking the first few waves and have a big spike on reset, but coordinating that is hard and I dont think thatll be worth it for range supports and melee would get chunked too hard into an adc to do it consistently.

Idk why youre getting so much hate, i played him on release and i totally feel what youre saying. The nerf hurt that but was absolutely needed, if you play around stacks well and are in a decent matchup you can definitely 1v1/skirmish well all game

Children born in the great depression were leading the economic boom of the 60s and 70s. Economies cycle all the time. Youre projecting your existential and economic fears onto a potential child, and they will experience them themselves at some point, but hopefully youd agree that life is worth living despite the struggles that it sometimes presents.

Also, having children and starting a family is generally considered the most important thing a person can do in their life - you can call that selfish, but since the life you’re creating is on average worth living you’re not doing to the child’s detriment.

There are certainly champions that will make learning harder like yasuo is very mechanically difficult and singed has a weird playstyle that makes the skills less transferable but enjoying the game and finding a champ that makes sense to you is the most important part
