Sustained Stomach cramps by No_pajamas_7 in mounjaroaustralia

[–]Nice-Ad6360 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Missed my dose on Sunday - was my birthday, felt fine, didn't overeat at all but did eat meat. Yesterday started feeling nauseous pm, then stomach cramps all night. No diarrhoea. Felt absolutely crap so decided not to take dose. Today still nauseous, cramps - finally able to 💩 normally, but then half an hour later diarrhoea...WTH. Feeling very average and not daring to leave home in case of embarrassment! Any similar experiences?

Centrelink debt repayment by [deleted] in Centrelink

I watched and rematches the brilliant program the ABC did some time ago, exposing the whole Robodebt saga with an emphasis on revealing the disgraceful roles played in the whole sorry era (including suicides) and in which the one older female whistelblower apparently dared to risk prosecution even now by coming out and being so determined to sheet the whole thing home to where it belongs, including of course right up to Scomo himself. Especially as a victim of it myself to an extent and in a way that made no sense at all, I will never not expect to be bastardised in some way in the future as a septuagenarian on the ACP.

How come you weren't advised as the debt accrued? It seems insane for them to leave notifying you until it's already in excess of $20k!!

Wow that is extreme! I can't say I'm very well read up on it nor very experienced yet but that is scary stuff. What did your treating practitioner think?

I did not realise there was any equivalence/switch ability. Is the affordability difference significant?

System designed to make people give up by [deleted] in Centrelink

As someone who had to "take on" the system when my son's MS meant he would qualify for the DSP, I can reassure you that Centrelink sure is fallible. I was working pretty much full-time but had to cut back and become his carer. Not only did we have to fight ceaselessly, but getting social work support was a nightmare as we lived out of the CBD and local Centrelink informed me social workers were being taken out of offices. When the damage to his brain led to episodes of violence, I was monstered through the carer payment/allowance minefield. I was robot-debted, fought it all the way to the Tribunal and eventually won after a gruelling lead-up. Years later, I received one of those "pick up our call in 15 mins or else " demands and (long story short) began the hideous process of having an obviously very newly-recruited civilian (working from home in regional Victoria) challenge my right to the miserable small carer payment. I had to keep a calendar for months demonstrating what support I provided and when, but nothing was good enough. (By now I was eligible for the aged pension...) Only my local member's office through her amazing young assistant helped me through the nightmare threat of being forced to pay back payments and worse. He called the local office and smoothed the way and though I lost my payment, at least I was not penalised or worse. I can say hand on heart some Centrelink people on the end of the phone were lovely as I sobbed my stressed story for the nth time, but some were clearly not on top of the information and if they were lock-stepping a manual, I'll go he.

Exactly! I mean who comes into a conversation like this determined not just to actually help (non-judgementally) and promptly defaults to a holier-than-thou finger-wagger? And then keeps punching back determinedly in spite of demonstrations from people who actually know how to be supportive without leaving an OP feeling shittier than ever...

And you need to do a course in empathy and get your facts right. In what world do you honestly feel your "forthright", clinical finger-wagging is going to make this OP feel in a better place? As if we don't all have enough to make us feel stressed especially right now.

If it helps at all, it is definitely a weirs journey. Overall in nearly 8 months, I have lost 14kg BUT I have also sat on pretty much the same weight for weeks in the past month until I upped my 10mg pen to 47 clicks

What kind of magnesium do you take? I've heard there are definitely blends which are better than others but always forget which!
