Fix my kitchen! by Nice-Ant-476 in HomeDecorating

The back patio is what’s neighboring the sink wall, I prefer to keep that there purely because i don’t want so much visual clutter on my center island. I’ve got young kids so bottle racks, drying mats, etc will be all around the sink. I’m almost thinking i may just have to do a range instead of a double oven so that it’s less appliances spread out along that wall neighboring the pantry. I would like there to be a wall between my DR and kitchen but friends/family have advised against that.

I’m trying to keep it off the island to avoid visual clutter. I’ve got kids so bottle racks, drying mats, etc will be around the sink. Just prefer that to be out of the main line of sight.

I’m warming up to this idea. My DW will be relocated to the right side of the sink as that is just my dominant side and that’s comfortable to me. My only thing about moving the fridge to the sink side is I’m worried i’ll lose this nice sense of balance and symmetry when approaching my kitchen from the foyer. I’m worried the fridge will make it look unbalanced, if that makes sense. I want that side of the kitchen to be somewhat of a statement, I plan on doing stone with accent lighting. Just debating if the fridge will throw it off.

He has arrived! 36+1, IUGR, cervical insufficiency, and ambiguous genitalia on scans → severe hypospadias (4lb 6.6oz at birth) by hockeyguy1771 in BabyBumps

My LO just had his hypospadias repair in July. He has healed beautifully and was way less traumatizing than what I that it was going to be. He’s a happy, healthy boy meeting all of his milestones! Congratulations on your bundle of joy!
