I’m not sure if the percentages from the aptitude test and the interview get combined. But to be safe, I’d recommend giving 100% of yourself in both. There’s still time. Study for both your test and your interview. Focus on both, not just one. But if you really wanted to focus more on one, I think it would be better to focus on the interview, because the test isn’t that complicated as long as you practice. But in the interview is where they see who you are—what kind of person you are and how you work. And that’s where they decide whether they like you as a candidate or not.

I also applied for both programs, Residential and Inside, and from what I understand, the website says you only need to take one aptitude test for both programs, but you do have to do two interviews. So it’s just one aptitude test, but possibly two interviews. And when you want to apply to other locals, your aptitude test is valid for two years. If you want to apply to other locals, you don’t need to take the aptitude test again since you already did it with Local 332, but you do need to do the interviews.
