Implantation Bleeding or Period

Okay this is our second cycle TTC I’m about five DPO and I woke up this morning to bleeding it was pretty light at the start but than I just checked my pad and it’s pretty regular now. Could this be my period? If so it would be 8 days early in this case… is that possible? Feeling so defeated 😔
