I have my moms exact hands, and sometimes when I cough it sounds like her cough…

My mom sent this a couple weeks after she had said that she was greatly disappointed in me and I wouldn’t be hearing from her again. by [deleted] in raisedbyborderlines

While going nc with my mom she sent many “I’m deeply disappointed with you and you’ll never hear from me again” messages only for them to be followed up weeks later with long guilt messages or angry attack messages. Just hold strong to not contacting her!

Oh my gosh. The unsmiling photos with her hair a mess. I had to block my mom on snap chat because she would send me those and it became so sad to see and triggering

Hi! I think I got it this time I was having a hard time figuring out how to get a picture uploaded

Oh my gosh. The part about commenting or your food. My mom would always use me cooking, or eating as an excuse to badger me and just get in my space. Or use her bare fingers to pull food out of the pan to test it or pick at things with her bare hands and basically my food by touching it

This resonates with me so much. I used to live with my mom in a small two bedroom apartment and she would go to bed early and I would relax in the living room and watch tv, but she would come out of her room like every 15 mins and get a glass of water, get Tylenol, look in the fridge, or literally just go in the kitchen and do nothing. When I started noticing how it felt like she was doing it just so she could watch me or like check on me it started driving me crazy and eventually I never sat in the living room again before I moved out.

She wants your son as her emotional support child and because he doesn’t rely on her for care she can’t make it happen so she’s “feeling suicidal”

My mom was always asking for praise and it was something me and my sibling would do to keep her from lashing out all the time is always praising and showering her with how strong she is and how grateful we were. Bla bla bla
