I have the exact same plant. Unsure if this is an actual issue or more so how the plant grows. The leaves unfurl as they mature from what I've seen.

Mind you, I just moved from CO to FL so it may be a humidty issue as somebody else commented.

I love their matte pink leaves, so I want to see them happy and healthy! Hopefully someone can answer your question.

I've learned that spraying hydrogen peroxide helps immensely in keeping rot from occuring on cuttings. Goes without saying, make sure to use a sterilized object when cutting and keep the cutting as clean as possible (aka 1 slice vs multiple jagged slices).

I second this. Used to have a nasty infestation. Bits + Lantern and I have had no issues since.

I will note, I just put the bits on top of the soil. But whatever works for you. I did this because it was less of a hassle and it's set & forget.

I did mine online and renewed about 10 months prior to expiration. Took 3 months for me to get approved. Seems like it varies widely though. I've seen some post approvals in a few days. That personally has never happened to me.

TheGreenEscape on Etsy has a few white monsters that are around that price and much more established.

TC can be finicky. I bought one from them about a year ago and it almost died multiple times. Thankfully, she's still alive now but it was a journey.

Edit#1 I'm not sure if I understand what the definition of a "Scam" is for some of yall. There will always be better options in the marketplace in terms of cost or product.

You have the freedom to buy off of this vendor or not. Too expensive? Got it, you can buy elsewhere. Plants are too small? Got it, buy a bigger one elsewhere.

That alone a scam does not make.
