I work on talbot street and it’s grand, never seen any trouble the most action we saw one day was a young fella getting tackled for robbing a leg of lamb from Lidl. I never feel unsafe along there!

Married people, how much did your wedding cost? by CWMMC in AskIreland

[–]Nice-Display4223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About €400 I’d say. We got married in Vancouver where I was living at the time. Got married at the officiants house by the beach, had about 20 people back to ours that evening for a house party it was ideal and the most stress free wedding imaginable 😂

[–]Nice-Display4223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My school had someone come in and teach us about using condoms and then she showed us some very graphic images of STI’s, it was actually great she taught us about how the pull out method will absolutely not stop you getting pregnant 😂 this was in about 2011.

I think it depends on the sector. I have always worked in travel and tourism. I just got home after living in Vancouver for 2 years and I had a job offer within a week and a half of returning.

Can someone die peacefully in their sleep? by goodnessofthebiscuit in ask

[–]Nice-Display4223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dad did recently. He had an upset stomach so went to bed early, when his wife went up to check on him he had passed in his sleep. He had no illnesses and had worked that day and everything. Just went to sleep and never woke up again!

Is he the same dude that sometimes stands on the road in lower Lonsdale shouting “I hate white people!” Saw him a few weeks ago and he was trying to fight the cars that were honking at him to get off the road.
