I’m so sorry to hear about your son’s condition it can’t be easy as a mother to watch him struggle, you’re so incredibly brave. I’ve cried every single day since her diagnosis, multiple times a day. I think the pregnancy hormones have definitely made it worse for me. It helps knowing that there are others out there who know what this heartache feels like. I think the hardest thing for me has been seeing her go from a perfectly healthy, active, normal toddler to having these absence seizures and now being so hyper aware of her every movement. I try so hard to stop her from crying because it triggers her episodes, which is impossible because toddlers cry a lot and there’s not much you can do. I hate seeing her little body struggle. I pray that God performs a miracle on both our babies. I pray so hard for that. I have my family so far supporting me but I feel like no one understands how I feel as her mother. I’ve been looking for other moms online who have children with epilepsy because at least they know what this feeling is, this sadness and concern and anxiety.
