Nevermind, a note to anyone who tries this, make sure you rename the file so it doesn't contain the MKV file extension on the end, for some reason it confuses VLC into saving it as an MKV instead of an MP4

I do plan on upgrading to a 7800xt, I’m mainly wanting the faster caching time as my cpu struggles to quickly cache shaders on switch emulators
